I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the amazing Valentine's Day menu you designed at the Kondari Hotel. From the moment we sat down, it was clear that every dish was crafted with care and creativity.

Absolutely perfect visit. Corinna on the front desk was so helpful and friendly. All the staff were amazing. The rooms were a bit dated but compensated with big space and very clean. Fabulous little extras with towel art. Possums, turtles, birds - everything is friendly and makes for a truly rare Australian holiday. Thank you so much for being such an original and genuine Aussie place to stay. So peaceful. Its not often that I get to recharge while on a business trip and working hard, but this hotel made it happen. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Just had the 300g sirloin absolutely delicious!
Cooked to perfection yummy creamy garlic prawns , family really enjoyed their meals also.
The manager Paul absolute gentleman working the floor checking on tables, super friendly .. definitely come back for that steak again it was spot on

Popped in for lunch while visiting Hervey Bay. Very pleasantly surprised by the Senior’s meals. We had grilled fish with veges and mash.. fresh green beans, peas, carrots and cauliflower. Mash like mum used to make. The fish was flavoursome and fresh. Our other meal was a perfectly cooked rump steak with crispy chips and salad. Tell you what grey nomads, you’d be hard pressed finding such delicious food at budget prices .. great job Kondari. We will be back ☺️

Went to the bistro for dinner, ordered a well done steak and specifically stated that there is a mushroom allergy and asked for no mushrooms or mushroom sauce to be near the plate of food. Food came out, with mushroom sauce! And the steak was medium rare at most. Staff member took the plate back and only removed the dish of mushroom sauce then returned the plate to us. We had to swap chips/plates ourselves as they were still contaminated by the mushroom gravy touching them. Not acceptable.

Rooms are good sized, super comfortable beds.
Service each night of 4 is 10 out of 10, Paul is an absolute legend.
Food was 100% times better than anything Townsville has to serve and ribs are to die for, also the Kondari Burger.
Close to Everything, short walk to the Esplanade or the Botanical Gardens.
Will be staying here next time we come down!

I would give this place zero stars if it was an option. The website and advertisement states that they have complementary wifi but the signal is so weak that you’ll find yourself having to hot spot the television.
The shower is made for incredibly short people. I’d recommend a prison cell before recommending spending any of your hard earned money on staying here.
There are so many loud and obnoxious people that stay here and unfortunately, drug users. Don’t bother complaining because in the end, the managers turn it all around and make out that it’s you who are doing these things. They will claim to have footage that does not exist and then refuse to show you said footage. But I guess that happens when they don’t actually have the evidence to back up their claims. This is a horrible place to stay.
I have booked an appointment to share my story with a local newspaper.
The one star that I’ve had to provide in order to give this review should be the for the lovely young girl we had serving our dinner. She was amazing and so polite.

A really nice place to stay and a short walk down to the Esplanade. The rooms were more than adequate and the welcome from the staff was excellent. The bistro attached to the Hotel has a lovely ambience. A good place to stay.
