Went on Saturday 10am to have a brunch. Ordered sisig plus rice and beef tapa.

Order came after 20mins which was a long wait. Would have been better if we were told beforehand as there were just few people ahead of us.

Order came and they put the rice with the sisig single order without asking me first. I asked if it was served together and that's the time they told me if I want it to be seperated

Then came the tasting part. I noticed that the sisig had more "capsicums" versus the pork. The cut on the capsicum and the pork was not also thin which is the usual standard for any sisig recipe.

I tasted the sisig and it was chewy and hard. It is not crispy at all versus what they have written in the menu.

I felt sad and frustrated because I was looking forward to eat it but it was not the Filipino sisig I was used to eating. It was very dry and the taste of capsicum overpowered everything.

The tapa was fine and I ate my husband's tapa to finish my rice.

I hope they can improve their service because this is not what I am expecting from a restaurant having a 4.5 rating in google.

Please see pictures below for proof. I am posting this because it feels for me during that day that they "experimented" with my sisig. I am not sure if this is really how they were serving it.

I hope they can be consistent and remember that people pay because they want to eat good food. We do not just serve food for the sake of just being able to serve one.

P.S. If you look at the low reviews here you can see that most of it is because of "inconsistency" of how they serve the food

It feels to me that different people are cooking their food everyday.

I had a fantastic experience at this cozy cafe! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, engaging in a lovely conversation with us that made us feel right at home. The service was quick, and everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, flavourful, and well prepared. It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy a meal, and chat with the friendly staff. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Ordered the Chicken Inasal & Beef Tapa. Both were flavourful and cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy and the beef was tender. Definitely will be back to try more items on their menu.

We were around the Penrith area and looking/searching for a brunch spot and stumbled upon Kokoe and thought let's give it a try.

To our surprise they were pretty good and tasty. We had their pork adobo and sisig.

This only recently opened cafe located at the bottom of High Street is comfortable to sit and enjoy food and coffee.

I came across Kokoe walking past, so I thought I'd try them out. The coffee and pork adobo was delicious. The service is inviting.

Introduced my friend to this great place. He's never had filo food before but was in love with the tapsilog and remarked how good the coffee was. This is a hidden gem in Penrith. Service and food is remarkable.

Seriously appalling! Ordered the big breakfast: chorizo tasted spoilt, scrambled eggs not even scrambled properly, no butter, stale bread, one piece of bacon and serving side was was disappointing!Ordered palabok (which was so inviting in the photo) and ended up getting pancit(was upset with that!!). Don’t forget the chai latte which was drowned in milk and I can barely taste the chai.

I am a foodie and I love supporting restaurants but will never order or recommend this place! You would think for the price of the food you would get decent meal. Sorry to say, but SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE
