I absolutely adored my haircut done by Kim at Koha the salon, I’m a naturally introverted person but she definitely made me at ease with small talk and a pleasant attitude. She listened, double and triple checked what I was wanting and she did an amazing job - even a month later I’m still getting compliments on my haircut.

I normally get nervous about hairdressers - and hate it when I go to the hairdressers and the person serving me is cold, seems irritated or indifferent - but the ladies here have a great attitude and make you feel welcome.

The space is a renovated, heritage building and the interior is modern, cosy and not minimal - it gives a luxurious vibe.

I have already recommended to a number of friends and will continue to come back.

I had an appointment booked in with their apprentice Ella yesterday and what a beautiful service offered. The colour consult was amazing she communicated well in discussing my desired end result and she got the colour bang on!

The wash and style service was also 10/10 head massage was so great!

Booked in for foils, was told my hair was healthy, but the foils had to be removed early because my hair started falling out at the basin. Was still charged full price even though my hair was damaged and the service wasn’t provided - my hair wasn’t blonde. Had to have it cut to fix the damaged ends, which was frustrating because I’m trying to grow my hair for my wedding. I was also charged more than the quoted price on the website and walked out with brassy, short, damaged hair

I called yesterday to try to book an appointment, first timer, but the person answered on the phone, I think Maddy, she was very rushing, didn't ask many questions and a little bit rude. Didn't feel welcomed or willing to book an appointment. Especially asking for a treatment, so I would imagine you need to ask which kind etc, unless you have only 1 treatment fits all! Very unimpressed with the service.

As someone who has anxiety, I did pretend to like it and pay $300 just to cry as soon as I got home. My hair before was more close to my inspiration pictures then how it is after. It has been done well and everyone there was nice enough but it’s definitely not what I wanted.

I enjoyed my first experience at Koha.
I had my hair done by Tiff, I’m in love with the outcome!
Tiff was amazing throughout the whole appointment! Tiff explained what she was doing, and also suggested some of the best products to maintain my hair.
I felt comfortable with Tiff and trusted her with my hair the whole time, Making me never doubt her work.
I can’t wait for my next appointment!!💗
