Kith Hotel Darling Harbour - Pyrmont, New South Wales

I had the pleasure of staying at the Kith hotel for one night, and I was immediately impressed by its tidy ambiance and the genuine warmth and professionalism of the staff. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that maintaining a welcoming and well-kept environment is a priority.

The room itself was thoughtfully designed with a minimalist aesthetic that exuded both functionality and charm. It was impeccably clean, with every detail carefully attended to, making it an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort and simplicity. While the lack of additional amenities might not suit those looking for a more luxurious stay, the setup was perfect for short visits or for guests who prioritize practicality and a serene environment.

The bed deserves special mention—it was exceptionally comfortable and provided a restful night's sleep, a critical factor for any hotel stay. However, the room was not soundproof, which could be a minor inconvenience for light sleepers or those sensitive to external noise. Despite this, it did not significantly detract from my overall experience.

The hotel's location is another standout feature, offering convenience and accessibility to nearby attractions or amenities, further enhancing its appeal. Combined with its reasonable pricing, it delivers excellent value for money.

All things considered, I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to others seeking a clean, comfortable, and well-located accommodation for short stays.

Comfortable, contemporary, clean, convenient, compact… these are the words that come to mind about my stay at Kith. ||I anticipated that the hotel might feel budget, compared to some prices in the area, but for the location I was willing to give it a go. However, Kith has done well to offer value for money without feeling like they are scrimping. They appear to have cut unnecessary frills but supply what one needs and of good quality. E.g., decent appliances, coffee and toiletries, and the possibility to order snacks. ||The room itself was very comfortable and almost spotlessly clean aside from a wee bit of dust up high on the clothes rack and in the crevices (but that’s being picky). The decor is beautiful: simple but stylish, with great lighting and air-conditioning. For my solo 2-night stay it was ideal but for a longer stay it might be a hassle not to have more cupboard space. I thought some shelves in the bathroom would’ve been great but made do with the windowsill. That said, I did appreciate that I wasn’t squashed into the space and the single bed was actually surprisingly comfy and generous. (Could it be a 3 quarter? It felt like it.)||Best of all: the location is ideal, right near Darling Harbour but tucked away in a quiet street, as well as near to the Pyrmont light rail station and some convenience shops. The front-of-house staff was very friendly and attentive.

My main goal when I travel for work is to find a hotel where I can have a good sleep - the Kith delivered! My room was nice and quiet, the bed was comfy, the lighting wasn't too harsh. The room is very compact which was fine for me as I was only staying overnight; it was modern, clean, and had everything I needed. The staff member at reception was fantastic - maybe her name was Gigi? She was very friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem. The location is good too - an easy walk over the bridge and into the city, and there are a few cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance from the hotel. Would stay again.

Great location for access to Darling Harbour and surrounds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The price is good for the location. And the rooms are clean and relatively quiet. But the rooms are small and the space for luggage is very limited. If you are looking for somewhere just to sleep in, it's perfectly fine. If you need to stay in the room beyond sleeping then it's not so great. The desk is very small and my room only had a stool. The balcony chair wasn't suitable for the desk, but at least it gave me somewhere to sit other than on the bed.

Two people can stand in the room but only one can move at a time. The bathroom is a glass walled enclosure in the corner of the room. The shower leaks. Our bed was concave. I had booked for 4 nights but after the first night decided to go elsewhere. When I arrived at the desk, the clerk was on the phone talking to someone else who tried to cancel and the couple behind me was doing likewise. I paid the flexible rate but was informed it didn’t matter. Once I didn’t cancel prior to the first night I had to pay for the entire stay. Rather than ruin my entire vacation, I swallowed the $700 loss. I’ve stayed in worse hotels but never received worse service. If you still want to risk it, I’d suggest you not reserve multiple nights but a series of single nights.

Stayed at the Kith Hotel to see a show at the nearby Lyric Theatre. Great location close to restaraunts and theatres. Check in and out was seamless, and nothing was a problem. We were on the 5th floor, and it was really quiet ... no road noise at all. Amazingly comfortable beds! Great shower and decent sized mugs for a cuppa! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

The rooms are very small but the quality is excellent. The location is excellent for anyone who needs to be close to Darling Harbour. The staff are all courteous and extremely helpful. Recommended for singles or couples - especially for those on a short trip with minimal luggage.

Rooms are small. There is no place to put luggage. My room didn't have a table or chair. Also, not on the small balcony.
There is no option to prevent water from the shower leaking to the toilet area as the shower glass door is too small.

Despite the disadvantages described above, I would go back again. Given its price, it provides a good accommodation option in the harbor area
