Very disappointed with our meals last night - 3 of us ordered the Eye Fillet, all requesting medium rare - they all came out medium/well if not well done! For $43 you would think you'd get a steak cooked the way you request, plus the "mashed potato" tasted like instant packet mash. I will say that we spoke to a staff member, who voiced our complaint to the manager and were first offered a free drink and dessert, which we did not want and so then we were offered a refund, which was very much appreciated and we thank the staff member for how well she dealt with our concerns. I'll also comment on the lack of customer service from the bar staff - we really felt that we were an inconvenience when we ordered drinks. Considering it's just a pub the prices they charge are ridiculous!

Terrible service, and even worst food.

Meals took over 2 hours, steak burnt suppose to be medium, staff were rude. Manager said no apology. This place is a joke. Never again.

This is how our 1pm lunch booking went down.
After receiving our warm sparkling drinks dumped on the table and no interaction from any staff, we ordered our mains at 1.24pm. At 2.30pm we moved inside and let the staff know as it was getting too hot on the deck.

At 2.40pm, I walked to the kitchen to ask if our lunch mains are coming and asked to speak with the manager. She was yelling to the kitchen staff, Table 43 have gone, dump their meal.
Table 43 was my order and I called over to say that’s our order that we already paid for. She said I’ll be straight out. It came out at 2.49pm. We understand they were busy but no apology for the wait. Another dump and run. My $33 medium rump was dry, overcooked and disgusting (photo attached). I should have let them dump it.

It was after 3pm and my friends never received their mains. They asked for a refund which they did receive in cash. But no apology from the manager. Nothing. It was the worst dining experience we have ever experienced and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Saw Royale with Cheese at the better timeslot of 8pm last Saturday night. Was much more of a party atmosphere than last time at 3.30 pm on a Sunday. The guys brought it again with their uncompromising sets of mad beats and strong vocals that had the crowd dancing and jumping from beginning to end. Thoroughly enjoyed the show and the staff were very friendly and service was second to none. I definitely will be returning to more live events at this tavern, which really is hitting the mark as one of the Sunshine Coast's premier event's venue.

Family of 6 who enjoys both a good steak and seafood. Place had entertainment for both adults and kids, amazing service, and the food was delicious. Menu is well priced. Definitely be visiting on our next stop back here. Thanks Sunshine Coast.

As a vegetarian it’s hard to find nice food sometimes. It was a nice experience and the eggplant parmigiana was good. Almost finished all the chips. Salad was much more than just lettuce which was nice to see.

The King's Beach Tavern is in a good location just up the hill above Kings Beach.

The food here was pretty good, but you will pay a hefty price for it, considering it's just a pub - most meals (burgers included) start at about $30 and any steak dishes are closer to $50.

It's not a bad place to eat, but I'd probably head to one of the many fish and chip places nearby to save a bit of $$$ instead.

It’s a nice place, pretty much the same as any other tavern, i.e. a cafeteria with a bar. No heart, no soul, no atmosphere 😔. But that’s just the way taverns are now. The large outdoor veranda is a nice place to sit for a drink. Lots of parking, although I imagine that’ll fill up pretty fast on the weekends.
Didn’t try the food, so can’t comment on that this time.
