Turnstone is a dream. The home is high luxury with stunning views of sky and sea. It is superbly appointed - the kitchen and bedrooms are exceptional. This architectural stunner is cleverly zoned to allow privacy for larger groups. The property is steps from beautiful beaches and the sea and sky are an integral feature of this home. The property is exceptionally well maintained and the property manager Bianca, is warm and incredibly helpful. Even though King Island has much to see and do, we often found we were all happiest to just hang out at Turnstone and enjoy this beautiful home. It truly is a sanctuary and haven. We are now regulars and with each visit we fall more in love with Turnstone.

Absolutely perfect location for my family. Stunning views of the ocean from every window, gorgeous wallabies just outside, afternoons spent exploring the beach for shells and just a short drive to town... With any luck, we'll be back here in paradise one day ... So grateful to our wonderful hosts for our stay here. Highly recommend Turnstone Beach House to anyone looking for a private, blissful holiday home on KI.

A truly unique experience to stay in a remote Beach House where you can’t see neighbours (or anyone else) right on the edge of the ocean and experience the rugged natural beauty of your surroundings. The house is as per the photos. Spacious, modern and extremely well insulated. Environmentally friendly plus good heating and ammenities. Very comfortable beds. You will not be disappointed if you book this house. The owner is a great host and is able to answer all questions about the logistics of the your stay

6 girls on a swimming weekend getaway from Melbourne. Turnstone was the perfect place to stay, the house was sensational. Bedrooms were brilliant as they could split all the king beds , and we each had our own bed . Kitchen , dining and lounge area fabulous , loads of space and very well equipped . Location fabulous , swam out the front everyday . Crayfish on the bbq , insane views with incredible sunsets and star gazing at night . Highly recommend. We will be back|Next year xx

We have just returned from an amazing five night stay at Turnstone Cottage on King Island. Could not fault this accommodation and are so glad we chose to stay there. The location is wonderful with views from every window overlooking the garden and beaches and bays. The accommodation is very comfortable and well set up with three bedrooms and two bathrooms at one end of the house, a central lounge area and then a kitchen, dining and lounge area at the other end of the house. All the rooms are large and well furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with everything required for any variety of meals to be cooked. The bedding and linen supplied was also top quality. The manager, Bianca, was lovely and very helpful with suggestions of sights to see, there are also lots of tourist information and maps at Turnstone Cottage to help plan your outings around this beautiful island. There is no hesitation in highly recommending a stay at Turnstone Cottage, you won't be sorry.

Turnstone Beach House is a unique holiday home situated on a location that will literally take your breath away. We were a large family celebrating an 80th birthday so our group consisted of all ages. What was so wonderful is that there are multiple living spaces plus the two huge outdoor decks, overlooking the most spectacular beaches, that we mostly had to ourselves.. amazing!
The property is just perfect at making you disconnect from today’s world and reconnect with the ones you love.
The peacefulness and seclusion will have you not wanting to leave, we sure didn’t want to.
The kitchen is a chef’s delight (we had 2 chefs in the group) which is stocked with all the staples and equipment you will need. The Aga cooker was perfect plus having the Induction was fabulous on the day of the birthday. We also hired Amy the caterer, on the island. She cooked up a delicious King Island experience, of their famous produce.
Thank you David, Christine and the staff who were most accommodating to our needs.
So my advice is to book early, just do it, you won’t be disappointed. We will be back!

We stayed with friends in this lovely three bedroom holiday house on the spectacular King Island coast. The house is set on a headland between two bays. Every thing is provided in the kitchen to cook up a storm while you watch the waves roll in. It is a short walk to two beaches, and you would be unlucky to find anyone else using them.||||All rooms have large windows, but the master bedroom and family/dining room have dual aspect views to both bays, and it was so easy to sit and enjoy the scenery and just be lazy. Two other bedrooms and another bathroom are available.||||This is an eco friendly house with double glazed windows, a huge solar array and rainwater collection.||||In the evening we enjoyed the wallabies keeping us company as they kept the grass down, and during our visit, joeys were hopping in and out of the mother's pouches.||||Turnstone is about 10 km north of Currie, and as you travel there you pass through the King Island Cheese factory. The factory has a tasting room which is well worth a stop. We also enjoyed a round of golf at Ocean Dunes half way back to Currie.||||A stay to remember. Highly recomended.

In February 2023 we stayed at the magnificent TURNSTONE accommodation on King Island. Palatial accommodation and amazing views of the sea on three sides with Bennett wallaby visiting daily and an array of bird life. What a great location King Island is to visit. An added bonus on arrival we were greeted with an array of King Island cheeses and biscuits what a welcome introduction to our stay.
