We had the most reward experience on our 4 day tour with both Lucinda and Ian. Their knowledge of the Island history past and present is brilliant. The knowledge of animals and the Islands industries is also spor on. Meals provide while on tour and at night at the restaurant is nothing short of master chef quality. The degustation night was stunning, all local produce. We are unable to find a fault with these two wonderful people. Glad to have met them. Thank you for a wonderful led into Christmas.

National Seniors Greensborough have now had 65 of our members enjoy a 4 day holiday with Ian and Lucinda. Many have claimed it is the best holiday they have ever had. Without a doubt it is the special experiences and the caring that Ian, Lucinda and their driver Helen gave to us all. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt as though we were special. Other reviews remind us that we aren’t so special though. Everyone feels that THEY are special. ||||At a leisurely pace we explored King Island and interesting commentaries took us into the lives of King Islanders, the industries and flora and fauna. The 4 wheel drives took us into places no other tours or private drivers can access. ||||These tours should be advertised as “A gourmet’s Delight.” What fabulous meals we were wowed with every day either at their restaurant “Wild Harvest”, out in the bush or other select locations. ||||Since our last trip in March we now have more members with their names down for another tour later in the year. The word keeps spreading! ||||You will not be disappointed if you book with King Island Holiday Village and Tours.

King Island Holiday Village, I would recommend for an wonderful experience of King Island, especially if you are with a Group. Our hosts Lucinda, Ian and Helen treated us like Family. We were taken every day on their large 4wheel vehicle to see the various point of interest on the island. Their restaurant the Wild Harvest is where our meals were served, they were just amazing, especially as the food was locally grown or sourced from the Island. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and felt very homely. I am sure our Group will relive these few days for a long time with lots of fond memories.

We recently spent 3 fantastic days at King Island Holiday Village. The accommodation was a bit dated but clean and comfortable with great views of the ocean. Evening meals at Wild Harvest restaurant where a delight. Touring in 4 wheel drive vehicles with experienced guides is the only way to really see the Island. Many thanks to our hosts Lucinda, Ian, Michael and Moss, you made our trip a really unique experience.

I went here with 18 other women and we stayed in the Wilderness Retreat and four of the cottages. All of the accommodation was comfortable, clean and the cottage I stayed in had a fabulous indoor spa with views of the Bass Strait! Our hosts went out of their way to ensure our stay was outstanding, with a tour of the island. The tour included the kelp industries, King Island Cheese, a lovely lunch at a cafe and visits to local are and craft shops. The breakfast/lounge room was perfect for our activities and the views of the Bass Strait from here was fantastic! A lovely continental breakfast was included.

Located in Grassy which really has no town just houses, the venue is in on a clifftop overlooking the water.it is a very quiet area, lots of wallabies. Continental breakfast is held at the venue and there is an ideal large lounge area for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles or just socialising. As it is upstairs it would be difficult for anyone not able to climb stairs. Beds were comfy as were pillows and the rooms have a bar fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities.||The dinner at night was a treat in the Wild Harvest. Lucinda, Helen and Ian || the three people involved in this all inclusive 3 night-4 day trip are multi-skilled, well organised, super friendly and knowledgeable about the island. Morning teas and lunches also great but if you want pre-dinner drinks and nibbles stock up in Currie on the way.We flew in a 9- seater plane from Moorabbin, never been in one before but a smooth flight even through fog some of the way. I initially went to do a bit of family history research and the information I got from the Historical society was very informative. The group also helped me find the plaques of ancestors at the Currie cemetry.

Ian and Lucinda are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Stunning views over the harbour. Close to the calcified forest and penguin colony. Their tours are also informative and amazing if you like 4WD. They can take you many places inaccessible to most.

spent a sensational 3 days in the ocean view house. Accommodation was neat, clean and cozy. The spa and sauna room was a surprise encompassing sensational views of Bass Strait. Met on arrival by owners Ian and Lucinda and everything within the house was spot on.
