I actually got in it today to get the awesome footage ive shared was initially cold but was warmer then the outdoor pool once I was used to the water seen eel and fish about the size shoe and two little fish and heaps of the paddle boat bugs

Kids loved it ! Water is warm and crystal clear ! No algae's that day (lucky us) .
It's a little spooky and mesmerizing to watch the bubbles coming thru the sandy hole in the middle.
It's quiet and has got all facilités needed ( picnic table , toilets , bbq, grassed area & car park)

A great experience glad we made a small detour !

Used to work in Railton & visited here often. It's a very quiet small park & you can visually see the sand moving in one spot from the thermal activity. We used to swim here & it was a fun experience. However I don't know if swimming is still allowed & it's not as clean anymore as it was back then 30 years ago when there was no green algae or other yucky stuff in the water that you see now. I used to come here with groups of friends & have a BBQ & a couple drinks & a swim. Not sure it would be safe to swim in anymore tho.

Great facilities here. There was a lot of algae on top but I spoke to a local and he said it was for not cleaned for the habitat - snails. I did have a dip and thought it was cool but when I went for a plunge in the river the next morning, the warm springs are definitely warm compared to normal outside water temperature. It's also quite private in that it seems that not a lot of tourists come by, and there is no cost to have a quick dip.

Nice spot. Water was cold but still really cool to see the sands bubbling at the bottom. Push button bbq. Take your rubbish with you. We didn’t see a bin here. Also, no dogs allowed and no camping allowed here.

A bit under whelming. Algae has almost covered the whole surface. Making it hard or undesirable to get in for a swim. You can still see the thermal activity bubbling up through the sand. It would be much nicer if the algae were cleaned up.

Beautiful spot for a quick stopover or spend all day over here, facilitated with a barbecue and public toilets.
Amazing spot created by the Nature, but abandoned by people, deeply sorry for this.
However it could a destination to be placed in "Have it Done" list.
