Nothing beats the morning views from their rooms. Clean rooms, amazing view, ample parking, not too far from cbd, but gotta take away 1 star for them not having lifts.
The high rise views in some hotels are great, but sometimes one wants a green refreshing view to start the day. The rooms provide that and some come with a balcony, the only problem is that it's on the higher level rooms and you'll have to take your luggage via stairs.
There's ample free parking on site, and the new reception staff is very friendly. They now have the restaurant area completed, you can enjoy the meal there or order room service.
Good experience overall.

Unfriendly and uninterested managers. They tell you they want your credit card again on their file in case you break something. I dont have an issue with giving my credit card as i understand it is required. i do have an issue being made to feel as i did due to the way staff poorly explaining why they wanted my card.
Newly renovated rooms are nice but not well finished as unable to lock the balcony door and lights falling off the bed head.
Only enough normal tea bags for 1 cuppa each. If you like a variety you are good.
On the up side close to transport and activities throughout sydney which was good. Reasonably priced.

The room is lovely, very clean. But at checkin we used the wrong card & they wouldn’t assist to change it. Then went to the restaurant & seriously service was average, but the size of meal for almost $40 was ridiculous. $38 for salmon 2 pieces of asparagus & 1/4 a potato! Terrible value for money.

Very nice, spacious room, with good charging options and well positioned switches for lights and A/C. Had a few quirks, but no deal breakers, would stay again:
- defrosted freezer spilled out water when fridge door opened
- hanging rail flew out when accidentally bumped gently with armful of hangers
- no knob/ handle on inside of glass shower door
- shower taps look like they lift, but turn (opposite ways) to increase water flow
- water flows across the front of toilet to the drain

Killars Hotel & Suites are really well positioned on the mid North shore of Sydney. It is easy to find and easy to get in and out of the property.
Rooms are very clean, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The Linen is excellent, as is the bath towels.
Restaurant on site, excellent food and beverages. Service is top-notch.
Rates are reasonable priced.
I highly recommend Killara Hotel & Suites.

A very pleasant hotel/motel in a convenient location to the northern suburbs of Sydney. The service was pleasant, kind of like a family run establishment. The dinner in the restaurant was superb. Breakfast was a more mixed experience - we’re not convinced yoghurt should be combined with the avocado in the smashed avocado dish, but that might be a personal taste matter. 🙂

Rooms are tastefully renovated and clean. Beds are comfortable. Wifi worked well and was fast. Parking got busy at night but was helpful having it included. Television had all the regular channels and could cast from your device using the wifi. Had a nice sitting/living area as well. Having charging points next to the bed as well as a reading lamp was great. Water pressure was good. I sometimes could hear the people in the room next to me and the traffic in the morning could be a little noisy but asides from that it was very quiet. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced, their coffee was also good. A microwave and cutlery in the room would have been helpful touches. Sometimes they were light on staff but the staff were all friendly and helpful. Handy location on Pacific highway. Overall a really good place to stay and would definitely stay again especially given the exorbitant prices in Sydney! It's amazing the difference a renovation can make to a place!

Great place for a pit stop. Unfortunately it was a public holiday and the restaurant was closed and no room service but plenty of restaurants nearby to grab a bite to eat. Very clean rooms and extremely comfy beds.
