This place is closed and going to wrack and ruin, with a high fence around it. Walked past it a couple of days ago and wondered what it is, and a passing kid on a bike told us it used to be a holiday resort. The bar and beach facilities are also broken and neglected and all are quite an eyesore.

We stayed at this resort for five days in a gorgeous beach front villa. We had our own private beach in front of our villa where you could sit at night to watch the sunsets with a glass of wine. Unfortunately the Beach Shack was closed when we were there as weather was drizzle rain or overcast and most of it is open.|The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant, which was like an indoor/outdoor space, was amazing. We had breakfast there one morning and lunch which was beautiful and the surrounding grounds are amazing. There are little wallabies everywhere and just an abundance of flowers, birdlife and I think some crocs in the creek. It was about 20 minutes out of Cairns but that suited us as it was nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend staying here and will be back again one day

If you ever wanted to stay in paradise? Then Kerrama Beach Resort will make that possible.
Marsha and Terry were just amazing. Customer service was outstanding.
Both were very professional and still very personnel. You just need to experience. All other staff we met, from gardener to late night receptionist, 100% customer service.

Just amazing, we stayed at the front bungalow #1, step on to the beach.
Listen to the waves, just beautiful
The set up of the bungalow is clever. Toilet wall has furniture on the opposite which gives a bit more privacy.
Shower has two shower heads, one is the " rainwater" feature, walk in shower. There is even a full bathtub, from where you can see the ocean.
What was missing was a ceiling fan outdoor on the patio.
Bed was comfy.

A great location beautiful unique and relaxing. I hope the refurbishment doesn’t change the feel and look of the resort as it’s only a few left like this. A day spa and restaurant would be ideal but was closed during my stay a few weeks out of closing for refurbishment, but over staff are wonderful location is great. You can choose to venture away or just stay and relax. I love the fact the beach was at my door step and you turn around and it feels like you are walking into a rainforest.

Loved the room right on the beach! Loved the beach shack bar on the beach on Fridays & Sundays. Loved that it felt quiet. |Two notes:|1. They only serviced our room once even when we left the sign on the door daily. |2. Spa was completely booked out for the entire week we were there - book early if you’re wanting to get in.

Prime location, with access to the beach. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is clean, and it is quiet at night. We saw beautiful Cairns birdwing and Blue Ulysses butterflies. On arrival we also found some lovely thoughtful complimentary surprises in the unit. The Pool is beautiful.

We loved our stay at Kewarra Beach Resort, the combination of beach and rainforest made it feel private and peaceful. Loved seeing the Wallabies, hearing the kookaburras and all the butterflies around us. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We chose not to have a car - there is a very reliable bus service a minute walk away so going in and out of Cairns or to nearby places with places to eat was very easy. ||Heaps of space in the rooms - we had one night in the beach front room and five nights in the rainforest suite and were happy in both. If you're looking for somewhere with character in nature that's peaceful this will be perfect. Weather permitting the beach shack on Friday & Sunday evenings is not to be missed!

Exceptional service- staff go over and above and are very friendly and accommodating. Location - awesome. Cafe/restaurant great- not open evenings however Friday night live music food and drinks ON THE BEACH- just lovely! Peaceful and quiet set amidst palm trees and lush greenery- dolphins and wallabies were an added bonus. We live walking and walked to Trinity Beach twice and along the beach to Palm Cove for dinner( 45 min walk).
