Resort has lovely gardens, family facilities and pool. Although pool needs more attention on high volume days. We found it to be court & full of hair in the afternoon. Really gross. Great location for short stroll to beach. The Villas that get the westerly sun, are boiling hot, & the AC gets turned off remotely leaving a hot cabin to come back to, & takes ages to cool down. Shower over bath is deep, slippery & dangerous. Ladder up to mezzanine floor for sleeping area for children is also quite a hazard. I wouldn’t recommend for very young children, or for older, less ambulatory people due to how high the side of the bath is to step in and shower. High falls risk. Suited to younger people & teens. Would be nice to visit in Autumn or early spring if you didn’t want to swim as the cabins are awfully hot in summer, even with the small AC unit. My kids trying to get to sleep at night on the mezzanine floor difficult due to heat.

Location Location Location you have everything you need including beaches, shops, park and BBQ SITES. How ever you don't really need to leave Kelly's Beach Resort as it has everything you need. The resort has a beautiful good size swimming pool with a spa and right next to that is large smaller pool for toddlers or small children that can't swim, my kids were in all day and even had a few night swims. My kids also enjoyed there game room and playing air hockey and racking up a for a game of pool. When the sun went down they also had a few games of tennis. The room was well equipped and clean. My kids loved sleeping in the "roof/loft and climbing the ladder to get up there. The gardens are really nice and one night we had a possum join us on the outdoor verandah. My kids have asked me if we can go back and next time bring their scooters.

This is an older resort set in lovely gardens. The restaurant is open for dinner only and the food is very good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately the internet is poor due to Telstra overhauling the lines. The beach is a 2 minute walk away along a road and then a crossover to the beach. Lots of rocks at this part of the beach so if you had children you would want to drive down a way to the beach with lifeguards.

Lovely spot, we're not far from anything. Clean & neat. Your own little hideaway. Pool is good. Will recommend 👌 had a lovely loft, age, and limited movement stopped me going up. Bed is comfortable. Good water pressure for shower. And a lovely outdoor seating.

We ended up having to switch places we were staying and I found Kellys Beach Resort. The "resort" part sounded great so I booked three nights. As others have mentioned, Kellys is more rustic than resort. That said, my wife and I enjoyed our stay. The place we stayed in was comfortable and it was easy to get around to the things we were doing in the area. We did not eat at the restaurant, but we did walk the grounds and enjoyed ourselves.

We had a lovely time. Villas are clean and have everything you need. Staff were very nice and friendly. Great position very close to the beach.
Stayed two nights dyned in the restaurant both nights and was extremely satisfied with the meals and prices.

Fantastic little location. We will be back on our next trip through. Everyone was so lovely, rooms were great. Shame that the wifi dropped in and out due to poor reception in our cabin. Wouldn’t have been an issue except the Telstra phone converge is also non existent. Optus is fine.

This is our 2nd stay here at Kelly's Beach Resort.
Gardens and Pool area have been improved and are much tidier than our last stay.
The units are tidy but do need some upkeep (not unsafe just dated) sections of the deck of the villa and the walk ways are rotting and needing replacement. This could make pathways difficult for those whom are unsteady on their feet especially at night so keep this in mind.
The loft area in our room is definitely something my kids love and has stuck with my daughter as a memory of our last stay.
Rooms are tidy and simple but comfortable and clean. Basic kitchen items are supplied (keep in mind that these are required to be cleaned by the last guests which isn't always the case, so check items before use). Full size fridge, frying pans and 4 burner electric cook top so could cook all meals.
Bbq's are also conveniently around the garden areas.
The games rooms has an air hockey table (we couldn't locate the air hockey with no bats for the game and a 2 person video game. There were multiple outside tables all undercover. Toilets also located in this area all near the pool area.
It's a beautiful resort with lots of green open spaces and only a minute walk to the beach.
Food locations are close by but definitely not quick walking distance.
There is a resturant on site open lunch and dinner, Reception provides opening hours on arrival.
We will definitely come back again and glad our last review a few years back was taken onboard can see the improvements you have made with the gardens and pool area.
Well done to the management and staff for taking this onboard!
