Lovely breakfast and great service. I always go out of my way to support seed oil free restaurants and cafes, as they are so rare to find! I’m grateful for places that provide real, high quality food.

Kefi Cafe has become my top spot on the Gold Coast! If you haven't visited yet, you're definitely missing out. You must try the hotcakes, breakfast pita, and pasta – they are exceptional. The delightful Mediterranean tastes will tantalize your taste buds. The service is warm and inviting, and Marina, the owner, infuses the cafe with positive vibes. The vibrant and spacious atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for breakfast or lunch!

We left still hungry which doesn’t happen very often. We paid $60- ice matcha, juice, Turkish Eggs and Spanish Baguette.
The Turkish Eggs were $18 for two tiny poached eggs and 3 tiny flat breads. The Spanish Baguette has bonus points for the bread being soft but was dull in flavour. We waited 30 mins for our drinks and 1 hour for our food which wasn’t ideal however appreciated when they thanked us for our patience. We were also promised cutlery at the beginning right after we ordered, however that didn’t get to us until after our food arrived. Unfortunately not in any rush to return but glad we tried something different compared to your typical breakfast food.

If you are coming to Coolangatta, Kefi is a must for breaky or lunch. Food is soo tasty - most meals have delish Mediterranean flavours. Also try the Iced Matcha with Blueberry on the house made almond milk? service was great and location and atmosphere were superb too. 10/10 - will be back.

Kefi Cafe offers a delightful experience with its cozy atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing meal by the coast if you’re in Coolangatta.

The Turkish eggs dish is a standout, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Their Mediterranean sub is a must-try, showcasing the diverse flavors. While the menu is limited, the quality of their offerings, including the crispy hotcakes and aromatic coffees, is exceptional.

We’d love to try their breakfast pita & Spanish omelette on our next visit. Overall, Kefi Cafe is a gem for those seeking delicious Mediterranean-inspired cuisine in a charming setting."

Those of us who had been to the previous establishment can truly understand the amazing transformation that Kefi has successfully implemented. It’s potentially a cold space to work with but somehow with the earthy colour and happy burnt orange and cream colours…the space is warm and welcoming….and that’s observed before we have even had any human interaction yet!

We were so curious about their menu and have to say that what they have created is truly unique and quite special! It made me want to know more about the heritage of the owners because it’s clearly personal and a cultural food experience.

I was a few bites into my kofta plate when we were checked on by a friendly face who had the quiet confidence and sincere care factor that made us feel like…she is possibly an owner. I told her that this meal is the tastiest thing I have eaten in a long time! She was so visibly thrilled! Flavours on point and the fluffiest most lovingly made pita accompanied it. Hubby had the big breakky…at first glance, it may appear to be not as ‘big’ as your typical similarly named breakfast however all the items that made up this dish were quality from the ‘unsqueaky’ haloumi, the pita (assume homemade) and the quality chorizo type sliced sausage. It was more than sufficient, after old ‘hungry hubby’ had completed the meal.

Juices were beautiful and the quality of the crockery punches well above the price point!

Instagram followers will have a visual on what’s going on inside but the average punter walking past may likely have no idea what magic lies behind the many glass windows on this quieter corner in Cooly….tell your friends! This is a real gem.
