A stunning, winding, hot springs with gushing torquoise water, so close to the highway, it is just stunning.
The current was surprisingly strong and water was not very hot, more on the tepid side. Very refreshing after a long drive.
A large expanse of lawn sits above the hot springs for a picnic after.
I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the toilet facilities despite a large amount of people being around.

Katherine hot springs were Amazing, the water was crystal clear and refreshing, has a constant flow so not too warm. Being here in off season was perfect and got the place to ourselves. It does technically close during wet season as it floods if theres alot of rain and wont be accessible but worth a check as long as you use common sense

Wasn’t open for swimming due to wet season. It looked amazing Great BBQ area and playground. Best to check before you go to see if us open.

This place is heaven. Pure turquoise waters, not busy when I’m there - opportunity to float the whole way down. Perfectly warm water. What an oasis - wish I knew it was in Katherine sooner!

It’s crazy to think there’s any bad reviews about this little oasis.

When I first got to town I wasn’t even aware about this spot, I was blown away with this hot springs. It’s free, it’s beautiful, the water is warm yes, but that’s because it’s literally called a hot springs so if anyone’s complaining about it being too warm, go down to the river lol.

Loved it! Will be back for sure.

Great place to visit and cool off, easy access, if you walk to the top pool you can float all the way to the bottom (a few small falls and a bridge to navigate) heaps of fun!
