We recently rented a cabin at the farmstay in Katherine, and it was a delightful experience! The cabin was very clean, which instantly put us at ease, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—perfect for a restful night’s sleep.

On Saturday afternoon, they held a show where they introduced the animals and gave us a chance to feed them as well.
One of the highlights of our stay was the friendly staff, who made us feel welcome throughout our time there. The kids absolutely loved interacting with the animals—especially the birds, the little pony, and, believe it or not, a camel! It was a unique experience that added so much joy to our trip.

Overall, we had a wonderful time and want to thank the team for their hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

Nice place with a pool and playground, facilities were clean and the washing machines were $3.00 a wash honesty box. Very friendly and helpful and Mike is hilarious at the animal feedings I don't know how his able to smile the whole time while dealing with all those kids. Great for families or couples and only a few mins out of town.

Such a awesome stop tucked away in the quite part of town with so many animals a awesome 3pm animal feeding and tour. Beautiful pool for a refreshing dip, river a stones throw away for fishing and cherabin catching. Bec & Micky we see how hard you work and are always welcoming even when under the pump thank you!!. We are thoroughly enjoying our stay at katherine farm stay for a work stint in between travel. And really will find it hard to leave in a few weeks time. This has got to be our favorite farm stay ever.

We stayed here 4 nights, was easy to book just had to ring, plenty of space, animal feeding at 3.30pm if you have kids otherwise just tag along like we did. Access to the river where you can fish. Only 10klms from town so very quiet.

Lovely owners. With farm animal feeding (including a salt water croc), a playground and swimming pool it's a great place for the kids. Husband also loved fishing on the river behind the farmstay. Great price and location (felt very safe but also not far to travel to town).

Only 10 mins from Katherine, this farmstay is a fun and relaxing place to stay. Michael is a delight and so entertaining when taking everyone around to feed his huge variety of animals (emus, ostriches, steer, water buffalo, goats, pigs, crocs, horse, donkeys, camel, sugar glider, rabbit, ducks, snakes and lizards) each afternoon. It was fun even for these 2 adults. The sites are large, amenities very clean and there is a pool and a kids' playground with a real boat. An absolute must stay if you have children but just as much fun for my husband and me.

Great spot to stay in Katherine, not far from
town. Has a playground and pool, animal feedings everyday to keep the kids (and adults) entertained, staff gave lots of tips on where to go as well as for our onward travel.
