Lovely place, beautiful ambience, the service was excellent and my steak was perfectly cooked! My son had Pizza and it was really good too…. we were there during rainy season so did not experience the outdoors!

Hubby and I had lunch here today (Mother's Day) We were made to feel welcome even though we didn't have a booking 😊 we both had the Striploin steak 😊 We asked for Medium Rare but it was cooked a little over cooked but it was delicious 😋 even the vegetables were cooked perfect.

Update: menu changed for the worse. Prices more expensive wih non member pricing. They are no longer serving ribs and chicken. Waiting time is long even when they don't have many people. Yes they said it will take 30mins on the board.
The chips are great, if you are lucky it has nice chicken salt on it.
You get to drink free coffee, hot chocolate, etc.
Make sure to be bring an ID card as they won't let you in without one.
The lDy scanning the ID is super friendly unless those security guards hired by other pubs.

Really great country course with it's grass greens and smooth fairways. Well watered and maintained, even a garden here and there. Friendly and helpful in Pro shop. Thanks for a good round especially since the next course is 300km lol.

Had a meal there and it was delicious. I am Coeliac and require Gluten Free food. There was lots to choose from.
I had Gemberreta Pasta with prawns.... Yummo

Golf course looks pretty well maintained!
The club has multiple areas to sit for a drink or set down for a meal. Outdoors is the place to eat & drink
Food menu is pretty extensive to suit most appetites and diets, plenty of beer on tap too.
Food was pretty good with access to the salad bar & staff were all friendly which is great.
Would happily return for another feed.

For travelling golf members with a golf link number can not win prizes when you play in there golf competition. I have had this experience where I was told that I can play in there comp but I am not eligible to win prizes because I am not a member of the Katherine GC.
I have toured around Australia for two years and this is the first time I have experienced this non inclusive competition rules.
I am staying in Katherine for another month and I will not be playing here again, as the Katherine golf club are happy to take your money/fees but have a policy to not give visiting AGU golf link members any prizes that you may win.!!

Not the worst steak sandwich I've had, but close. Fell apart as soon as I picked it up. How hard is it to cut the large chunks of gristle off the steak? I'm going to find it when I bite into it. Chips were good. So many flies hanging around inside even the waitress, who has the power to spray some fly spray around, was complaining.
