I was only going to stay 1 night (unpowered)but stayed an extra so I could take in a ride around the town and to the Point
It was nice to be able to make use of the swimming pool, although is was mighty cool, as the days are warming up. 32°c today, early August
There are plenty of bins around, emptied promptly, good showers and clean toilets.
You can’t beat having a coffee van on site and should try it out if you’re here.
There’s a good walk to the Point to enjoy, early morning is best I think.
A good stay indeed

Delightful, friendly & helpful owners and staff. Large, shady sites. Excellent access to sealed boat ramp with pontoon. Bakery, chemist, groceries, cafe, butcher, post office, pub only a short stroll away. Coffee van and goodies most days. Immaculate pool. We stayed a month. Maybe 2 next year!

We just finished 3 weeks at Gulf Country Caravan Park and couldn’t have been happier. Large sites with a mixture of lovely shade and sun if you choose. Very friendly and helpful staff. A coffee van selling delicious coffee and treats. Well maintained grounds and a spotless pool to cool off in. |It’s close to a chemist shop, supermarket, cafe, butcher, petrol station, pub and more importantly an easy access concrete boat ramp with 2 x double ramps and a central pontoon. Sunset and fishing cruises leave from the ramp. |The Barramundi Centre/Information Centre is a short drive down the road. |The staff have done a fantastic job and there have been NO CORELLAS in our park at all after last year when they really loved the park’s trees. Peace has returned big time. Thankyou so much - we strongly recommend this park.

Wow we were so happy we stayed here fir 4 nights. Huge sites grass and a large park but you don’t feel like you’re in too if everyone. Plus all the shops are nearby. It’s better to be a few mins from the ocean as all other parks so busy and packed tightly in. A wonderful town and such lovely family run park. A joy to stay here.

Friendly and welcoming staff, showers and toilets are in good order and clean.
Camp kitchen could be better set out and equiped, still a very good stay.
Coffee Caravan next to office is very good, great coffee and few treats to be had.
Fresh fish sold on site some days we picked up some fresh local Australian Salmon fillets for $28.00 kg, lots of local bird life in park area too.
