A beautiful place to stay- everything so well thought out + planned. Peaceful location, yet wineries close enough to walk to. Breakfast provisions were delicious and plentiful. Loved the birds in the flowering gum. Sitting on the deck with our cheese platter was fabulous. We hope to return.

Had the most incredible stay at Karawatha Cottages! The cottage was beautiful and modern, with everything we needed and impeccably clean. Georg was so welcoming and helpful, making our experience even better. The location is perfect with amazing wineries just a short walk away. Highly recommend – we'll definitely be back!

Beautiful stay! Great central location for visits to nearby wineries within McLaren Vale and day trips to the wider coastal region. The cottage is lovely and quaint, very comfortable and private. |Georg and Friederike have given lots of thought into the little details which makes for such an amazing stay. Would recommend up anyone looking for a short stay up McLaren Vale!

Host Georg met us on our arrival at Karawatha Cottages. Our cottage was immaculate inside and out. The decor was very tasteful and there were lots of little touches that elevated it above the norm. The fridge was filled with milk water, tomatoes, yoghurt, eggs bacon, butter and jam. Fresh bread, granola, fruit, chocolate and a bottle of local wine was also provided.

Hands down one of the best all-round stays we've ever had. The location is gorgeous, the booking and check-in experience were faultless, the cottage (we were in Unwind) was exactly as described and pictured on the website. Best of all was the personal approach from Georg, making us feel instantly at home. And it sounds small, but the wonderful breakfast basket and small touches like some butter, jam, etc make all the difference because you feel like a lot of thought has gone into things. Loved meeting some local characters too at the vineyards along the walking route!Thanks for such a wonderful memory you've helped create, Georg (and I'm sure Friederike too)🙏

We forgot to write in the guest log book , but we were very happy with our whole experience on Friday 16 May and the 17th . We were welcomed by George, a nice gesture and short chat. The Relish cottage was fantastic, well designed, casualy elegant and tastefully furnished, with some funky farm implements made into functinal items or art work. Breakst provisions were plenty and the view from front veranda andour bedroom window were beautiful We will be back! Rob & Helen
