This is a charming place specially for weddings. It has a little chapel and a event hall and an outdoor area for reception. The whole place is nestle in a well kept garden. Lots of effort has been put into maintenance and creating this place. It's a lovely place to have a wedding here. The only downside is that there is no actual bridal room for the bride and bridesmaids. Also the location is in Avoca about 1-2 hrs away from Sydney but if you take it as a nice wedding holiday with friends and family this area is quite lovely.

We recently got married at Kantara House in April. We had an exceptional day. Karina and Skylah went above and beyond for our special day from the impeccable grounds to the great hospitality showcased on the day.

Till this day, we continue to receive positive feedback from our guests saying how delicious the food was and how beautiful the venue was.

We couldn't have dreamed of a better venue for our wedding than Kantara House! The space was absolutely stunning, and every amenity exceeded our expectations. Karina, Skylah, and the entire team were simply incredible – they helped calm every pre-wedding nerve and were there every step of the way, making sure everything was perfect. They truly went above and beyond to make our day feel effortless and unforgettable.From the ceremony to the reception, every detail was taken care of with such professionalism and warmth, and we felt so supported throughout the entire process. Just had my Daughters wedding last night at this amazing venue, Cherie ,Carina and their team were amazing.Nothing was to much trouble, The venue is spectacular along with every minor detail taken care of. Food was 5 star bar staff worked up a sweat to ensure everyone was served in a timely manner. So glad my Daughter insisted on this venue. Happy bride and Groom thanks to everything going to plan just as we were promised.

We always knew we wanted to get married in a chapel, but we weren’t prepared for just how breathtaking Kantara House would be. No photos could do it justice. Nestled amongst lush rainforest, with wisteria, palms, and orchids in abundance, the garden and surroundings were stunning. The Charlotte Chapel, with its high ceilings, immaculate condition, incredible acoustics, and the country’s oldest ringing bell, was everything we had envisioned. We made our decision the moment we stood before it.

Karina led us on the initial tour, and her laid-back presence was coupled with an unmistakable calm, but one that is highly organized—she’s a power to be reckoned with. Throughout the planning process, we also had the pleasure of working with Skylah, who was just fantastic.

We attended a beautiful menu tasting months before our wedding, allowing couples to experience a romantic and formal evening before making their menu choices. We ended up making great friends with another couple and had such a fun night, staying on after others had left for more drinks and to enjoy the setting. The staff were terrific and welcoming, making the experience even more special.

All dealings with Kantara House were seamless—Skylah and Karina made sure everything was handled smoothly, no matter how big or small the request. I was still writing my speech on the morning of the wedding (not recommended). As I walked to the chapel with my dad and bridesmaids, moments before walking down the aisle I asked Skylah at a moment’s notice if she could print it for the reception. Despite juggling countless other tasks to keep the day running smoothly, she had it printed and discreetly folded under my menu.

Our wedding day was truly one of the best moments of our lives, and we owe so much to the incredible vendors—and now friends—who provided such a calm, organized, creative, and loving environment.

We cannot speak more highly of Skylah, Karina, and the entire Kantara House team.

We had our wedding ceremony at the Charlotte chapel and then canapés and reception followed on the grounds of Kantara House just over a week ago & I have only amazing things to say about the property, Karina & Skylah. They went above and beyond for us, whilst it was torrential rain on our wedding day, everything ran smoothly & perfect for us! The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing and we couldn’t be more grateful 🙂 we can only say good things, thank you so much again !! Steph & Brad x

Kantara House was a wild card in the list of wedding venues that we visited, however once inside the beautiful Charlotte Chapel there was absolutely no denying that we had found our venue. It is a truly breathtaking space, and the Chapel's story just added to the beauty.

The grounds at Kantara House come to life with fairy lights in the evening, and our guests loved having so many lovely spots to entertain themselves between the ceremony and reception.

The service from the team is second to none. We had all the information we needed along the way, Karina's calm support both the day before and on the day were unreal and I will be forever grateful for her, and the serving teams throughout the evening were amazing. Our guests only complaint is that they ate too many canapes (as they were so yummy!) before going into the meal.

I could not recommend Kantara House more highly. My day was better than I could have imagined and the team here really made that so.
