The perfect place for a big family get together! We had the studio and both cottages for our group, and we hung out in the Lodge - which had three dining tables, a big lounge area and a fully equipped commercial kitchen. We did a walk to see the beautiful view over the valley. So beautiful!

As a family we stayed in the Valley. It is a very unique cosy warm relaxing place to stay in a wonderful location.|You are surrounded by native bush, lots of walking tracks from the property to explore or make use of the tennis court with everyting supplied.|It was a little cold and wet when we stayed, the wood heater did a fantastic job keeping the place toasty.|The design of the cottage is very eco friendly and fits into the surrounds well.|The hosts live on another part of the property and are there to assist if needed.|Overall a very relaxing, stress free place to stay.

We booked the Ultimate package which was perfect - we were a large group of family and friends and having the place to ourselves meant that we could all commune in the Lodge for meals and drinks while still having the privacy and space of our own accommodation. Perfect for overseas visitors the bushland and colourful native birds were a treat and the catering kitchen came in very handy! Nigel was great and very accommodating. I heartily recommend Kanimbla - especially if you're a large group looking to stay somewhere special together. Plenty of great things to see nearby and bushwalks from the property!

This is our second time to Kanimbla and now an established annual break for myself and two grown up sons. We all love the eco cottage, partly for its environmental credentials, but mainly the great style, 3 big bedrooms, huge open fire place, big open kitchen and genuine charm and comfort. One son likes to cook, the other walk and we all like board games, listening to music, reading and enjoying the bush. The cottage is secluded in the bush and there are great walks on the property if you don’t want to move off the place. |At night it is pitch dark, no artificial light and the skies fill with stars. Lots of birds too.|The host, Nigel is really friendly and obliging and has a vast knowledge of the area. |

We recently stayed at Kanimbla View Clifftop Retreat and had a fabulous time. Nigel was the perfect host and Banksia Cottage was the best spot for our getaway, nestled in the bush and completely surrounded by nature. We loved taking a morning stroll with an early morning cuppa along the walking track leading to beautiful views of Kanimbla Valley. We made good use of the tennis courts and enjoy a roaring fire in our cosy cottage in the evening. Will definitely return!

This was a big family get together, which meant we used the entire resort. We couldn't fault anything with the accommodation. Two lodges down the road had king beds that could be split into singles, as well as a double bed and elevated single in the third room. There's also a kitchen and two bathrooms. We didn't need the kitchen as we used the HUGE (and sensationally equipped) kitchen up in the Lodge. ||||We also used the Studio (which slept a family of six) and the Owners cottage which was great.||||We were able to accommodate 12 adults (some couples some singles) 3 teenagers and 6 kids under 10. Kids played on the tennis court and everyone went bush walking. ||||Nigel couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating, even recommending a caterer for our major party night. All in all a fabulous weekend.

We recently spent a weekend at Kanimbla View, celebrating some special milestones. We hired the Ultimate Package, and utilised as much as we possibly could; from the tennis courts, to bushwalks, to lazing on the grass, entertaining on the verandah, and of course: The fantastic kitchen / galley.|My wife and friend had a reconnaissance visit with Nigel a week before and we were made to feel so welcome.|The accommodation was just suburb. The scenery was spectacular, and we will definitely be back sooner; rather than later, and probably for more than just the two nights next time. |See you again.
