I don't usually write bad reviews, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience.

Upon entering, it was clear the cafe staff lacked experience. We placed our order of smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs, tomatoes, bacon, and feta, along with a bacon and egg roll, a coffee, and a chocolate frappe.
Our total came to $49.50. An error was made with the change (shortchanged but didn’t make any fuss and left it alone). While this was a minor inconvenience, it set the tone for a series of issues that followed.

Despite being the only customers in the cafe, with just two others later waiting for takeaway coffees, our drinks arrived separately with significant delays. I was mistakenly given a milkshake and was assured it was a frappe. One sip and It tasted like weak, room-temperature milkshake.

We observed our bacon and egg roll sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period, waiting for the other meal. When both meals were finally served, I politely asked for the frappe to be remade in a takeaway cup. The young staff member, who seemed overwhelmed and admitted she was on work placement, tried her best to rectify the situation.

The cook then returned to the table to take back the avocado toast, as the bacon was omitted by mistake. When the meal came out again, its presentation and quality were extremely disappointing. The avocado was overly ripe, mushy, and sour, the tomatoes were wilted, and the sourdough bread was thin and stale. The bacon on the roll was hard, and the egg was overcooked and crumbly. We left our mostly untouched (few bites) plates of food.

I informed the staff of our dissatisfaction with the food, unfortunately they did not respond or offer any resolution as we left. We didn’t request a refund.

I'm unsure if there's been a change in management, but this cafe used to provide better meals and service. Unfortunately, I do not plan to return after such a disappointing experience, despite previous visits being satisfactory. Leaving a full plate of food behind and writing this review feels regrettable, yet it reflects my anger and disappointment at paying for such a dismal experience.

This place use to be the go to Cafe in the area. Now it's dead and I think I know why.. Ordered 3 lamb salads today $20 each and got about two forks of Lamb if Ai was lucky. Taste was good, but come on...disappointed to say the least.

Came back after 2 years, still great!
What a great surprise! Spent the last two weeks trying to find a classic Australian burger, from Gold Coast to Surry Hills, and found this gem by chance!
Next door to a go kart centre, staff were very friendly and helpful, with big smiles. Food arrived rapidly, despite being busy, and large portions. Gander Burger was just what I expected, with the lot added to it. Calamari tasty and good portion sizes. I was too full to try their Explosion drink (milkshake with a donut on top!).
Busy and popular with locals, definitely worth a visit for brunch or lunch.

Tasty food. Very quite inside. Spacious. Cappuccino had zero froth and 1/4 of my coffee was spilt onto the saucer. Bacon was still oinking & my egg was broken. 1/4 of an avo for $4 is a joke, lucky the lovely lady gave us some more. Struggled to find a drinks menu, had to look it up online.

This Cafe appears to have swapped hands and is now an attachment of the go cart track, still charging the same prices of a stand alone Cafe. There is zero management. The staff were lovely however there was one chef and only 2 young girls taking the orders, making coffee, waiting tables on a Sunday morning. We ordered our breakfasts (five meals) at 1020am. After an hour of waiting we were told 20 more minutes. Our food was served at 1145am. We weren't told the wait would be so excessive at ordering, nor were we told that they didn't have sourdough. When our meals finally arrived, they were served with white bread which had barely been toasted, and the meals in general were lukewarm at best. The food was awful - in particular, the sourdough and "half an avocado" was served with mushed avo in a plastic side cup. The attached photo speaks for itself.

The staff were very apologetic and offered coffees (unfortunately we had already ordered second coffees, and paid for those). I really felt quite bad for the staff but the food doesn't deserve 4.2 stars in any way, shape or form.

Food was good but a bit expensive. They were blasting the music out of the speakers, despite it being a quiet cafe in a business park. It is family friendly, but playing profane music doesn't make it family friendly at all.

Love this tucked away gem of Narellan. Always have a tasty variety of options. You can get salads, burgers, pizza and share plates. What more could you ask for!?
