Was passing through the lovely town of goomeri and happened to be told about this old pub to have dinner at. Once at the establishment, it was the busiest pub I had ever seen for such a small town. The very charming young man behind the bar (I believe his name was Eden or Ethan.) He had excellent service and tended to our needs without complaint. He was very polite and well mannered, thanks to him we had an amazing experience here at the Goomeri pub. He handle the pouring of the drinks and service of food with ease, We went to thank him but it was just too busy but we were so amazed with his excellent service.

Joe’s Grand Hotel was warm, friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and very high quality. The gourmet take on the humble rissole was incredible. Saturday reef and beef special was generous and delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly. We were a large group with puppies and the staff could not have been more accommodating, seating us in the beer garden. The house wine from Dusty Hill was really yummy too. We would definitely return to this lovely town with its lovely pub.

If your passing through definitely stop in for a beer and a feed. The staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating.
The pub has rooms and shower facilities and when I asked they were more then happy to let me use (after being dusty from the night before). 10/10 will be back!

Great pub. Nice, varied menu for a small town pub. Beautiful, old pub feel. Big, well cooked meals for very reasonable prices. Totally worth the $.
Mum n dad had the puppy so we sat outside and were made to feel welcome. The staff were very friendly and professional.

Great pub for a beer, feed, a game of pool and bit of banter! Highly recommend the 600g steak and a pint of Guinness.
Just be warned, she doesn’t serve food Monday and Tuesdays 🙂

The chef here really knows his food, the flavours, the perfection of blending together. I had the salmon, a touch small I thought for the price, but the flavour was something out of this world. The potatoes, broccoli and other veges were all so mouth watering with flavouring so perfectly suited to the salmon. You excelled yourself, usually here in August but delayed due to a sad occasion, your food lifted us. Thank you….

Dropped by with my Grandson for Lunch while investigating a nearby property to buy.
The Blackboard special of Pork Scaloppini was fantastic
Chicken tenders & chips for my Grandson were the "best chips I've ever had", as he's only 10 I tried them & can confirm excellent.
Should I buy nearby, will definitely be trying other items on that menu

Dropped in for a drink after a long drive. Beautiful country pub with an open-plan public bar / lounge, well set up (with a stage) for live music. The blues music softly playing over the audio system & the framed posters of visiting blues artists create a great vibe: I'd love to be here when a blues artist is playing!
