Tried jimmies in preparation for our wedding dinner, and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. Pizzas were not very good, Halloumi fries were good, but the pizzas, man the pizzas….. they were salty, confusing flavours and just overall not great. The pizza bases were not hand stretched and almost felt pre-made? We felt obligated to take the rest home but we will not return and do not recommend.

10 out of 10 for service, food and atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, ( especially Niko). Our food arrived promptly and was beautifully cooked. The location is nestled in the hills with beautiful views. I strongly recommend and definitely going back. We asked to be seated near the open fireplace and were so warm while eating our meal. Also the prices were very affordable and menu was extensive. Particularly loved my seafood dish. Thankyou Jimmy's keep up the good work.

I knew I’d had a good experience once before; a long time ago; at jimmies - and never forgotten it.

Tonight, As we had to leave another venue due to the overbearing loud music; it was great that jimmies could accommodate us all on such short notice (4 adults; 4 kids)

The food was (again) fantastic; the pizza is amazing. I rate this pizza about on par with another great pizza shop I’ve reviewed here.. we had the margarita and the roast veg pizza - both excellent. PIL got the garlic prawn one and enjoyed that one too.

The honey glazed halloumi fries are an absolute treat and must not be missed.

The dessert menu is great - kids got gelato and we shared a vegan snickers.. aaaaaamazing!

We sat in the beer garden as we had furry company with us; which was no issue either.

You wouldn’t know you were right next to the craters turn off as the beer garden has enough growth and trees around it to seclude it from the road.

Service was excellent and the staff and manager were all very keen to please and ensure our meal was a good experience.

Will definitely be back

I booked Jimmies or a gathering to celebrate my husband’s 70th after reading the reviews. I have to say, the whole experience was very disappointing. When we arrived the table for 12 was not ready and my request on booking to be served family-style antipasto, pizzas and salad was met with confused faces. When we were finally served the antipasto the platters were a mish mash of strange things and certainly not what you expect from an Italian perspective…Hummus? Red capsicum dip? Ritz crackers? Slices of apple? Dried dates? Feta cheese? Only a smattering of Italian meats, horribly salty olives and morsels of flavourless mozzarella…. The pizzas were quite good thankfully but we ordered five large and received six (and billed). The rocket salad, whilst fresh, was undressed so we had to ask for that to be fixed. The restaurant had hardly anyone else there yet the service was terrible with long waits, so much so that we were clearing our own dishes! When it came time to pay the bill I went to the bar and was told the total and given a print out. I said I would need to look it over and went back to the table. There were several items included on the bill that had already been paid for as some of our guests were buying their own drinks. I queried these items and because I did that another bill was printed out quickly with all these items removed thus reducing the bill considerably. I was not impressed and wonder how many have over-paid. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL!!!! I am sorry, I will not be going to Jimmies again.

Nice little cozy place in the hills. Decided to try the pizzas. We tried the Spanish Jamon & Truffle Mushroom Ragu pizza because the ingredients just sounded so interesting. It turned out to be our favourite of the 2 we ordered. The flavours all mixed well and exceeded our expectations. will definitely be coming back for this pizza. I found the pizza base a little bit thick but it held the toppings better than if it was thin.

She greeted us with a radiant smile, ensured we were comfortable throughout the meal, and provided spot-on recommendations that made our visit even more enjoyable. she is so incredibly beautiful and young looking, it’s hard to find young attractive women who want to work these days and It's rare to find such an exceptional combination of friendliness and expertise and Flossie truly made us feel like VIPs!

Wow just Wow. As soon as I entered the establishment I was greeted by the beautiful grinning face of a waitress. She smoothly guided us to our seats and made us feel right at home. Her drink recommendation of lemon lime bitters was amazing and her food recommendations for the mushroom and potato pizza were phenomenal. I love seeing young waitresses excited and enthusiastic about the place where they work. When I asked her about the Pizza she gushed over all of them but the mushroom potato was as she said "the best thing she's ever eaten" and boy was she not wrong. I asked for her name at the end and I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Flossie Baker. Thank you for making our jimmies experience one to remember.

I hosted a party at Jimmie’s last Sunday for 20 people, and it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the staff made sure everything went smoothly, accommodating our large group with ease and making us feel right at home. The pizza was absolutely incredible easily the best pizza in the Adelaide hills maybe even in South Australia. Each pizza was made to perfection, and every guest was raving about the flavour. they also had a range of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, which was great since a lot of my friends don’t eat meat.

We also enjoyed their garlic focaccia, which was warm, buttery, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere at Jimmie’s is so inviting and casual, making it a great spot for any group gathering. If you're looking for great pizza, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere, Jimmie’s is the place to go, especially for big party's like mine, we will definitely be coming back.
