I’ve now stayed at Jen’s Getaway on 3 occasions and been in all 3 rooms. I love all 3 with a preference for no.2. I feel right at home, the place is so very clean, easy instructions, the rooms have a bed, TV, fan and private bathroom. The air con is controlled by the owners but the rooms are not over heated. Breakfast in the morning is superb is eggs, toast, raisin toast, cereals, yoghurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice and sometimes fruit is on offer. Jen and Tony are very lovely people and always well worth a stay. Jen’s Getaway is right on top of the spectacular Glass House Mountains, it’s on the gateway to the amazing Sunshine Coast hinterland, not far from Australia Zoo & Aussie World, less than 30mins from Caloundra and 45mins from Redcliffe Peninsula.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! Jen and her husband are lovely hosts, and are very accommodating. The house is spotless and has everything you need. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and modern. Outside is great to relax and watch the birds. As my husband said, it feels like staying at an aunties house! Definitely recommend!

Jen and Tony are fabulous hosts, try are friendly but not intrusive.
The house is by far the cleanest accommodation we have stayed in. Great ensuite, tv in our room as well as a large tv in the lounge room. We watched Kookaburras and magpies out in the yard while eating breakfast.
Highly recommend this bnb.

On first stay the host Jen is lovely & as we were late arriving, communication perfect to get in without hassle or noise.
However her comment about our upcoming 2nd stay made us unwelcome as she wanted to offer it to the other people staying...

Great stay. Jen and her partner are very friendly and live in the house permanently. They really do their own thing and let you do what you want. The kitchen is well prepped and has everything you need. Great place

We’d give 10 stars if we could. Spotlessly clean, and lovely hosts. Thoughtful touches and a very comfy bed! It’s walking distance to some of the mountains and also amenities. We stayed here for 2 nights a few weeks back and would stay againand recommend to anyone!!

Hubby and I stayed there for more than 4 weeks. Jen and Tony are great hosts - very friendly and accommodating. Very clean, spacious room, large & new ensuite. We could use the washing machine & dryer which was greatly appreciated. A lot of breakfast items are supplied and you can cook you own dinner - the kitchen holds every cooking utensil you can think of. Kookaburras get fed every evening & are great to watch.

Jenny was the perfect host, her home was welcoming and very relaxing. The rooms were pristine clean and comfortable and the facilities were excellent. Great choices for breakfast too. The outdoor covered area was an added bonus and a beautiful place to sit and have a morning coffee. Great location for visiting the Glass House Mountains. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jenny for making us feel so welcome.
