Cheap, Fast and friendly cafe. The quality is fantastic for the price. Milkshakes are excellent, if your a coffee snob, maybe go somewhere else, overall not complaints.

Simple, honest, fresh and yummy! Easily accommodated 8 people quickly (6 teenage boys and 2 weary parents!).
Super fast service and large sized meals.
Amazing value. $110 for all 8 of us! A friendly, local business. Happy to support it again!

Just ordered Aussie Burger . Good old fashioned quality Milk bar style burger ...Superb. I feel sorry for Mcdonalds trying to compete. Compliments to the chef on Sat arvo Dec 28. Please keep up the honest prices ...always 20% cheaper than most others ...this is what gets the customers there at the very start .

Best coffee, best breakfast, best prices and most importantly best people. The Jay Breakfast for $8.95 is a winner and they cook their eggs perfectly, any way you want plus they make the best cup of tea….and make sure you pick up a couple of their homemade sauces. An absolute Coolangatta gem.

Had a lovely breakfast here - $3 iced latte (using app) and $7 Jay’s breakfast, with two fried eggs, bacon, grilled tomato and toast. Seriously, for $10 you can’t complain at all! I chose to sit outside because it’s an open grill kitchen so unless you want to smell like food afterwards it’s best not to sit indoors. There are a few tables outside which would generally be enough for the patrons. Service was friendly too and they even address you by your name when they bring you your food and coffee if you order using the app (because it requires you to enter that). I highly recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to come back whenever I visit Coolangatta in the future.

JAYS FOOD! WHAT AN EXCELLENT CONCEPT!!!! super speedy, DELICIOUS AND AFFORDABLE!!! Like proper in and out dining service, the men in the kitchen were great! The kids... doing there best!! As someone whose worked in hospo for ever, I think this would be a GREAT place to work, easy systems, easy menu, nothing overly complicated PLUS they have like 20+ of their own original sauces for sale which is cool, and I'm pretty sure they get quite involved with the community (give back to the homeless ect, cant wait to come back home and eat here! Thanks Jay!

I just can't believe how it could be 4.7 reviews with these burnt food and dirty fork and knife!!! The bread is covered with lots of disgusting mayo and the veggie grilled with too much oil. I thought I smell some rotten stuff from the street then it actually came from the food on my plate. I probably never left food in a restaurant but this time I have to discard these things in case I may get sick.

When I talked to their chef, he said the food is supposed to be burnt like this! I was so shocked that he looks like he doesn't care about hygiene and is very rude.
