We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service provided. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes that were part of the banquet.
It was obvious that a lot of thought, care and effort had been put into the menu and we were delighted with the unique flavours that we experienced.
The atmosphere and service was spot on and we had a great night.
Highly recommended for a pleasant fine dining experience in Newcastle.

The atmosphere was what attracted us to this restaurant in the first place and did not disappoint on the service either. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. While I'm sure the food is really great, perhaps we chose the wrong items for us on the menu. We had the crumbed lamb and the chilli and garlic mussell pasta. Both we found to be average for the price. However, the foccacia bread was very fresh and lovely and the wine list was amazing. We will visit again in the future and try something else on the menu.

My wife and I booked in for dinner and ended up going to the Hungerford Hill wine pairing dinner. Everything was delicious! Service was also great.
We looks forward to visiting again!

The staff are incredible, friendly attentive and wonderful. The decor is divine but the meal sizes and quality are not 5 star. I have no problem paying for high quality food experiences but this was disappointing. The beetroot salad tastes like Golden Circle tin beetroot, the steak and lamb is dwarf size and the wine is overpriced. The taste was also sub-par. The steak was well cooked though. Large selection of wine but was overpriced. I was so annoyed with the experience of the small portions I opted for an ice cream from 7/11, rather than give them another cent. If yiure going to pay 300 for a meal, you want to walk out satisfied and not hungry.

We came with a friend to celebrate the event. All staff are very nice, they will always help you with the menu and advise you what to order. Didn’t have to wait for food for too long either , kitchen is very quick . However food was average and tasteless . From the set menu we just liked the meat, It was perfectly cooked .

The perfectly cooked share plate, lamb shoulder was delicately flavoured with rosemary. The lamb sat on a bed of peas cooked with speck, enhancing the soft mint combination with a balanced smokey flavour. I guess I should tell you about the bread. The focaccia was warm, soft, and accompanied by a perfectly infused caramelised onion butter. Well done, kitchen. Nothing was over salted, and everything was perfectly cooked. The floor staff, including the manager, went out of their way to help and serve you. The wine list by the glass is well balanced and an excellent selection. Update: Breakfast was excellent!

This is not fine dining. This is ok food and nice but not even close to fine dining. The price is fine dining and the hype is fine dining and if you’ve never experienced fine dining you’d be thinking it’s pretty fine, but it’s not fine dining. It’s a fairly nice place that is way overpriced and pretending to be something it is not. The service was nice, the food was ok.

Service above and beyond what was expected. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and accommodated.
The restaurant was fully booked, however lucky for us we were able to be seated and served in the bar.
Octopus for Entree, I suggest you each get your own, we opted to share but after seeing the size next time won’t.
Full of flavour however the texture of the accompaniment was different.
Steaks cooked and season to perfection.
I suggest you order sides.
Dessert and wine paired throughout the meals went down a treat. Our server has issues opening the wine with a broken cork , which threw her for a moment and we didn’t get to taste before accepting however it was still a great experience and we will be returning .
