My husband and I stayed at Jagundami while we visited family close by. There is nothing bad you can say about the property it is beautiful. Nice big rooms and has everything you can ask for. Bed was really comfortable, which is always a plus. Judith is a wonderful host, she goes out of here way to make your stay comfortable. It is only 8 min drive to Valla beach and 15 min to Nambucca, a great spot for a stay away from the crowds. Unfortunately it was very wet when we were there so we didn't get to go on any walks around the magnificent grounds.
We would highly recommend Jagundami, we would defiantly stay there again.

We have stayed at Jagundami 4 times over recent summers. It is in a beautiful, peaceful and private location in the hinterland from Valla beach. A short drive from the beach through macadamia plantations and farms to Judith's beautiful garden/bush retreat. Valla is also a great location for day trips to Dorrigo & New England national parks, Bellingen, snorkelling and diving the South Solitary Islands. The home is cool even in hot weather, well appointed room (great book selection for all tastes) and kitchen.Judith is a great host who is a wealth of local knowledge. We stayed here with our adult son who slept on the sofa bed which is very comfortable unlike many. We plan to return again.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle is this comfortable Jagundami guest retreat. Yet only 10 to 15 minutes’ drive away to quiet beaches (Valla beach & Nambucca heads). We stayed here recently with our daughters during the Easter weekend (2016) and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind a relax.|| ||The house came with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of complementary food items. The house is luxury quality, tastefully built and decorated with quality furniture and décor. The outdoor spa was a real treat and was put to good use all three days. ||||Our host Judith was very friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable during our stay. ||Highly recommended for those looking for a quiet relaxing break away from the noise.

We stayed at Jagundami for one night earlier in January which was pure heaven and relaxation. From the beautiful decor to all the little details, this place is a bohemian paradise. Judith is one of the loveliest people we have met on our trip, she really is a great host and makes sure you have wine, chocolates, butter, eggs, bacon etc for your stay which is such a nice touch and it definitely comes in handy. We thoroughly enjoyed having a glass of wine in the outside hot tub in the evening and then getting the best nights sleep we had in a long time in the most dreamiest of beds. This place really is a retreat where you can switch of from modern life and kick back and relax with all the luxuries and comfort you need!

We have stayed at Jagundami on a number of occasions and, once again it has been a blissful experience. Judith, the owner, has created a home away from home and, in our opinion, there is nothing that she has forgotten.in her attempt to create a retreat that is so conducive to relaxation. The guest house has a very comfortable king size bed, lovely bathroom with excellent shower, lounge suite, television and DVD player, ||dining table, fully equipped kitchen, books, magazines, board games, little extras in the refrigerator, apart from breakfast needs, and so it goes on - not enough words to describe the comfort. Outside there is a wonderful spa, beautiful native birds, palms, bamboo trees - so much vegetation that is so green - outdoor furniture and imaginative decor. Altogether, a luxurious place to stay and beckoning you to return.

Fantastic place to stay!

The pictures can't capture how beautiful this guest house is.

It's more like a one bedroom apartment than a B&B. The furnishings are very high quality and thoughtfully arranged, with everything you could possibly need.

Judith is a wonderful host at Jagundami, very welcoming and warm, nothing is too much trouble.

Beautiful grounds, close to a perfect beach and cafe ... not much more I could ask for in a holiday.

This is a great getaway ,great for going for walks through small to large farms of macadamias and other veggies as well as the bird paradise. Ride a bike ,go for a jog it's all there and close to pristine beaches with great surf and cafes. A restful home when you get done with your adventures awaits ,should you not want to go out ,the kitchen is completly ready for your own creation. You'll want to hit some of the local shops and butchers for ingredients which the host can direct you to easily. The area also has some great local festivals nearby .I would highly recommend this for newlyweds or couples looking for personal time ,children are welcome but I wouldn't leave them unattended or unsupervised.
