I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and Robert, in particular, went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. He was always quick to help and added a personal touch that really made the experience memorable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy. I’d definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a friendly and comfortable stay. There is also a shuttle bus that goes directly from the Hostel to the centre or alternatively to the GrayHound bus stop.

Very good hostel! Clean rooms and good showers. The cocktails and sandwiches are great. It’s a nice place to relax while traveling. It is a bit remote and there are no parties, so it might be more enjoyable to go with someone rather than alone. The staff is super friendly, and you can also rent bikes! The only thing I missed were shade and lounge areas by the pool.

My fiance booked jackaroo treehouse as a stop on our east coast adventure. A great hostel in a lovely peaceful surrounding. Clean facilities and a great onsite cafe/bar. Thank you to the lovely owner for dropping us into town when we missed the shuttle bus.

Beautiful location surrounded by the jungle! Hosts were knowledgeable and recommended Bicton Hill walk, which we enjoyed. We stayed in the double room which was lovely, had the little balcony too. Decent kitchen which never got busy. We saw a wallaby whilst sunbathing on the grass but unfortunately no cassowaries for us! The pool was refreshing but could do with a couple pillows on the wooden bed structure.

Nested in the beautiful rainforest and only a short 5min drive to the beach. I saw two cassowaries on a Sunday morning around 8am just fascinating. The rooms are spacious with good air circulation when windows are open. Nice outdoor dining areas. The bagels at the little cafe on site is yummy and reasonably priced. The travellers I met here are lovely too. I will come back hopefully next time it’s warm enough for a swim.

As someone who has been to many accommodations around Australia this is hands down the best of the best. Not only is it in the most stunning location where the reef meets rainforest but truly a dream escape from reality. Rooms are tidy, kitchen and bathroom are cleaned multiple times a day and it shows! Peaceful, chill and breathtaking. Honestly, best night sleep of my life with the peaceful sounds of rain lulling me to my dreamland. Staff were very kind, patient and great at recommending me places / activities in the area. The wildlife on the property were an added bonus. Never thought I’d see so many amazing animals and creatures all in one spot. The ultimate place for rest, relaxation and all around good vibes.

A lovely hostel in a very beautiful natural area! The surroundings are so pretty, green and with cassowary’s and wallabies walking around the property.
The hostel itself is nice, with a large common area and a very clean kitchen.
The cafe on site is nice, reasonably priced and with very good bagels and pastries!
The hostel is quiet and really lovely if you want to spend some days in nature. There’s a paid shuttle service to and from town / Greyhound bus stop.

Wonderful place with stunning views! The staff are so welcoming, great coffee and very good prices! Loved hanging out by the pool surrounded by the rainforest! The cleanest hostel kitchen I’ve ever used!
