What a fantastic space! Spacious, clean and very comfortable. All the little extras to make one really feel at home. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great so I was unable to take advantage of the gorgeous garden/courtyard area. Added bonus was a meet and greet from Mickey, a very friendly kitty!

I have never given a 1 star review before, but this business owner leaves me cold. 10 days out from my pre paided booking, and my Mother & I needed to cancel or change date as she had a minor stroke yesterday and can't travel for 2 weeks, on doctors advice. Kelly's response was nothing but cold and completely inappropriate given the simple request. I get it. I did read the policy. But you know, sometimes, .. when you really need a holiday and just wanted some understanding or at least a "sorry" I can't help. Or perhaps.. I can help IF the room gets re booked for the night you had to cancel,.. how hard would that be? Attitude Zero out of 10. Bad Karma here. Can't recommend this business.

The accommodation is located in a separate section of a family home and is of good quality. It is well-equipped for a self-contained and self-catering experience. The property is on a quiet residential street; shops and services are within walking distance. If required, there is ample street parking available for free. During my extended stay, the owner did not interrupt me, and the accommodation was serviced at the agreed-upon times for changing sheets and towels.

The kitchen could be improved if the wall-mounted laundry dryer, which was out of use, were removed and the clothes airer replaced with an easier-to-operate alternative. TV fans may want a better TV as the colour fades after 10 minutes. It's okay to watch the news. The sofa is due for refurbishment, including new springs. The shower drain required doses of disinfectant to keep it fresh. Despite these few shortcomings, it is an excellent place to stay.

A quiet, lovely little spot. It was very convenient for where I needed to be each day. A little morning walk to the coffee shop each morning, listening to the sounds of the birds.

We loved our stay at Jacaranda House. It was centrally located in a quiet street under a beautiful Jacaranda tree. It was a lovely apartment under the main house with everything we needed. There was also fresh strawberries and blueberries in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Thank you for having us.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jacaranda House B&B, it really is a home away from home. The decor is lovely and it's very clean. The Garden Suite is peaceful and quiet, it offers complete privacy and seclusion from the hustle and bustle of city life. I was travelling for work so having a washing machine and dryer was hugely beneficial. Kelly very kindly catered for my special dietary requirements, and made me feel very welcome on arrival but then left me alone which I really appreciated. Attention to detail gets a huge tick in my book, thanks for having me, I will definitely be back!

We appreciate that our hosts went the extra mile to give us privacy. Since we paid in advance the door was open for us when we arrived and our hosts were available if we needed something by phone. The B and B is close to shops but in a very secluded part of the street so we had no city noise.
All the amenities were clean and tidy and lots of
Little niceties were included but I'll leave that as a
Surprise for you if you go there.

Kelly is a wonderful host, she provides a lovely self contained home away from home with attention to detail. There is also a private entrance & courtyard. Restaurants cafes and general stores are a short walk away in a lovely quiet location.
