Excellent staff. Easy access. Value for money. Lovely apartment with everything you need. Great safe location. Underground dedicated parking. ||Check in was great with very clear instructions. The location close to Willow Shopping Centre was handy. Would stay again.

Had a 2 night stay booked , could only make 1 night due to flooding , policy is minimum 2 night stay so had to pay in full !! Talked to Shaun the manager and he was very helpful in talking this issue through with me very helpful and will be staying here every time I come to Townsville for Sporting events .

Spent 3 nights in a two bedroom apartment at very reasonable rates. Very smooth booking processes, very responsive to minor problems. Very clean rooms, well kitted out - excellent location on the Ross River, and as a bonus they provided a $50 voucher to a nearby cafe. Staff were very efficient and courteous. A minor problem with a door lock, which they attended to immediately. Highly recommended

pleasantly surprised about the size of these apartments. Everthing was clean and the staff friendly.
Only thing to remind people interested in this apartment - it isnt a serviced appartment unless you pay extra for it.

A great stay marred by a couple of disappointing issues.
The only television in the apartment did not work for multiple reasons (the TV remote batteries were completely mangled and dead inside the remote, and the TV itself would not display anything other than an error). I did not report this as I had no use for the television during my stay, however it is still not a good thing. The main reason for the 3 star review is during the last hours of stay, at 9am, one hour BEFORE checkout time, the cleaning staff unlocked and opened the apartment door, letting themselves into the apartment without knocking or announcing themselves. I had to physically put myself in the doorway to stop them from entering further and seeing a completely undressed person in the room. This act alone made it that I will probably never stay here again.

It's not a bad place to stay! The rooms aren't super wheelchair friendly - there are little lips into doorways.
Location was good - the river is beautiful and close enough to shops. They have a vending machine on site, too.
Staff were accommodating! I would have appreciated them offering me a lift to my room upon arrival, though - I was wearing heels, had a lot of luggage, and was placed in the furtherest room!
I'd consider staying here again.

The reception staff when we checked in were a little unfriendly and appeared to be uninterested. One of the staff didn't even acknowledge my daughter and I when we entered the office. We all have tough days, but it costs nothing to say "hello".
However, further interactions with the facilities after hours service and reception were excellent.

The apartment was very clean and functional and located well to our convention facilities.
There is a fair bit of traffic noise from the main thoroughfare that runs past the apartments, but it didn't interrupt our sleep.

I highly recommend Jacana Apartments in Townsville. We stayed there as a family for 2 weeks. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and have everything you need. The surroundings are gorgeous. And the staff were super friendly and kind.
