Island Palms Motor Inn was a great place to stay for a couple nights. We stayed in a family room with a big bed, and two little beds. The location was perfect and the rooms were relatively clean as well. We might stay here again if we were to come back to Forster.

Clean and spacious. We loved the outdoor sitting area. Friendly staff and nice big bed. 40 mins walk from town which was quite enjoyable

1st night was quiet, 2nd night kids screaming banging at 11.30pm, the room is falling apart the towel rail fell down, the exhaust fan very noisey , the locks on both rear and front doors need attention , the carpet is filthy and sheet on queen bed stained not sure if the bed was changed or not. Cleaners are so helpful you ask for something and its not a problem. Thats all I have to winge about. Have a nice day

Large room with extra bed
fridge & microwave
big bathroom and plenty of hot water
Air con
Super clean
Supermarkets, a pub and eateries all within staggering distance.

This was a last minute booking for one night to break up the trip between Yamba and Sydney for two adults and two teens in room 11.

Location is very convenient for travelling, just need to drive to the beach. The accommodation was as advertised, very good 3.5 star (but I would list as 4stars) and have given the full five star for this review.

I wish we’d tried the pool which some other guests were enjoying and which looked quite inviting.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming and were happy to help with local recommendations.

We felt really looked after and we would happily stay again.

Pleasantly surprised with the size and cleanliness of the room. Got the nr 20 corner room which was comfortable and quiet. Bathroom spacious and shower recently upgraded which was great. Rather newish air con with good heating which was really nice since it is the middle of winter down under. Within walking distance of the local pub/Chinese takeout and the Woolworth shopping center, so no need to get back in the car after a long days drive.

Last minute booking, received an amazing King sized bed , nice layout of room, great bathroom only slight thing is it takes awhile for hot water to kick and taps are back to front. Bed amazing!! Easy access to the heart of Forster shopping centre and tavern. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again ☺️?

Really nice motel. Very clean. On highway, but good quiet spot. Short walk to shopping plaza with Woollies, Coles and many more. Very convenient.
Easy self-check in. Decent size room with everything you need for a short stay. Affordable. Would stay again.
