I’ve been coming to Insignia for around five years and I’ve always had a good experience here! I would trust any of the stylists with my hair, and the price is well worth it. All the staff are lovely and accommodating, and the salon itself is just such a feel-good environment ☺️☺️

Loved the service. The stylist listened to my concerns about my sensitive scalp and helped me achieve a natural & easy to maintain colour to suit my busy lifestyle. I travelled 2 hours for the appointment and it was worth it! I was in and out in a decent time frame. The team work and they get it done. I will be a regular customer. I also love that they have beauty, makeup & spa services. It’s like a one stop shop. Feeling so cute!

Store is too busy to pay attention to individual customers. Over processed and singed my hair with bleach leaving it in for nearly 2 hours, teased it so much the apprentice was tearing at my hair to get the knots out, resulting in so much breakage.
My hair feels like straw to which the workers tried to gaslight me by saying it’s so soft?
Asked for ash blonde balayage, and I got brown and brassy with unblended strips of grey and blonde everywhere with dark brown roots because they left them untouched. When I complained the to lady telling her it’s not blonde and nothing like what I showed her she said “it’s so blonde I don’t know what you mean” and asked me to go home and wash it and wait for it to get lighter?
Quoted $389, refused, Paid $180 in store, requested a refund from owner and said she could only refund $30. Essentially paid $150 to have my hair destroyed and made darker than when I went in there.
First 2 photos were my reference photos of my hair last year, the rest is what I left with. This is worth $150? I could’ve done it myself.

First time going to this full service beauty salon. I had full head foils, cut, treatment and blow wave by Mikaela. The salon had a great atmosphere, cheerful and competent apprentices, all staff there just very engaging and always asking if you wanted a drink and how you doing. Since living in California, my hair hadn’t look this great since San Francisco. It was so so professional, this stylist knows her stuff! There is a cafe next to this salon, plenty free parking and on the other side of the hair salon there is massage, makeup artist, eyebrow feathering, waxing, nails, tanning and much more. Highly recommend! Five Star!!!
Adding to my review as I went there for my second appointment with Steve as Mikaela wasn’t available that day but let me tell you guys!!! He is an awesome colourist too!!!! Both are phenomenal at their craft! So happy with the result yet again!!!!! As a customer, I can say this, there was a review here on google that looked bogus to me because the first couple of pics looked great after this person had her hair done at the salon and then the rest of the pics were taken obviously in her home, no way on the same day and looked nothing like the colour she had in the first two pics, looked like someone’s applied a box colour or something plus the hair looked oily so no way did she walk out of the salon like that! Doesn’t take a genius to figure it out, pics speak a thousand words. So I highly recommend this salon to anyone wanting top notch professionals! I feel very lucky to have found this salon!

Steve is absolutely amazing with his hair. its artistry. i walked away today with an amazing balayage that i have been trying to attain for years. the staff are all friendly and welcoming, the salon is a lovely environment. if you are wanting to get your hair done i highly recommend Insignia Hair and Day Spa and further ESPECIALLY recommend Steve as your stylist. ?

I have been to insignia a few times now for facials and microderm and I see Janahya. She always asks me how my skin is going and listens to any concerns I have and makes recommendations suited to me. She is always super lovely and makes the experience a joy. I love the results of my procedures and have booked another. I have also found my favourite sunscreen ‘Airyday’ after a recommendation from Janahya which is a tinted formula which I now wear religiously.

I recently visited Insigna Hair & Day Spa in Penrith for a facial and massage, and it was an incredible experience! The atmosphere was relaxing and serene, with soft music and a calming ambiance. Mon was highly skilled, with a gentle yet firm touch that melted away all my stress. The facial left my skin glowing and refreshed, thanks to the high-quality products she used. I appreciated the attention to detail and the personalised care I received. I highly recommend Mon and can't wait to book my next appointment.

The girl who served me was friendly however the whole experience felt a bit unprofessional.
She was unable to do a French tip which I have never experienced when booking a manicure before. And when I asked for a receipt I had to wait 15 minutes to then be told one would be emailed to me. I called the store today and was told the same thing once again. No one has sent a receipt or followed up and its proving to be very disappointing and stressful as I will have to continue to follow up until I get a receipt. I shouldn't even have to ask for one as its law one should be provided. Wouldn't recommend going here as a result unfortunately.
