We stayed with Doug and Helen for 3 nights in Frog Hollow. The accommodation was just beautiful throughout.Doug and Helen are fantastic hosts and very friendly, as is Alfie the dog. Breakfast on the veranda was the perfect start to each day. The frog chorus was incredible in the evening and Helen was kind enough to take us all out to spot the different types of frog. We would definitely recommend Innistaigh and would be happy to return. It is a great base for exploring the Glass House Mountains but you will need a car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Doug has created a nice bed and breakfast in his home. We had a wonderful stay and kids enjoyed playing with Alfie. We stayed in the 3 bedroom (one bathroom/toilet) unit. It is very well maintained. Doug is very welcoming and he even offered a set of movies for kids to watch. Even though the unit did not have a washing machine we could use one in the main house. Doug prepares the breakfast himself in the morning and we enjoyed while having a chat with him / rest of the guests.||||The property can be tricky to reach. One has to turn into a pretty small side road at the sign that says "Innistaigh Retreat" (disregarding Google directions). The road seems to lead to nowhere initially but finally you can see the beautiful property. The location is just nice for accessing Australia Zoo and visiting national parks and waterfalls.

A nice stop on our expedition up north. Close to the Australia Zoo, Glashouse mountains.|The surroundings were absolutely fantastic. All different birds woke us up with amazing and rare singing. Also got to see the Richmond butterfly that is on the verge of extinction.|The breakfast was lovely on thei huge patio looking out the magnificent view.|We were told about this 1,4 km rainforest walk at the Mary Cairncross scenic reserve, just really close by.|We got upgraded to a two bedroom l apartment which was really nice. |Doug and Helen were lovely hosts.|The WiFi on the patio was good, a bit slower in the apartment.|We really recommend this place!

We stayed at valley heights for 4 delightful nights. Wonderful views of this truly special part of the world. Helen and Doug are really nice and our children fell in love with Alfie. We had the cooked breakfast one morning which was terrific and the fruit, yoghurt and warm fresh bread on the other mornings was lovely as well. ||Very convenient for Australia zoo and our kids also loved the swimming hole, particularly the rope swing at Gardner Falls. The towns of Maleny and Montville are well worth a visit. ||I will remember sitting on the veranda with a glass of red listening to the extraordinary sounds of the forest at dusk for a long time. Highly recommended. |

Doug and Helen were so welcoming, guiding us to the property over the phone after dark (the Google directions send you down a non-existent road to the other end of the acreage). We had many long chats with them about all sorts of subjects, the dog was so friendly too (not only to human visitors but visiting dogs!) and feeding the goats was a lot of fun. The location was perfect: an amazing view and a stillness broken only by bird and frog calls. Even though our room was off the main passage to the kitchen and breakfast area, there was almost no noise from other guests. With an overhead fan in the room and a screen door, we didn't need air-con.

Had great communication from Doug and Helen from the get-go. Fabulously welcoming. Very comfortable room. Amazing views from the decks. Easy parking. Lovely breakfast with homemade bread overlooking the gorgeous surrounds. Very enjoyable stay. Will be staying again if I'm needing accommodation in the area and happily recommend them to everyone.

What a beautiful location tucked away in rural surrounds. Accommodation was top class, breakfast was magnificant out on the hugh deck. There is plenty to see and do in the local area. Doug and Helen were fantastic hosts and Alfie the dog was very welcoming.

Stayed here one night during a solo travelling trip around Australia. Absolutely beautiful property amongst the glass mountains. Helen couldn’t have been more welcoming from running me a hot bath complete with a chamomile tea on my arrival (I had just had a long journey) to showing a genuine interest in me as a person. The place is kept spotlessly clean and the mountain views are breathtaking. The meditation room on site was a lovely added bonus as was their mini labyrinth. A very calming and spiritual place. Lovely light breakfast in the morning. Only criticism would be in line with other visitors comments that the place is very difficult to find, particularly if you are arriving in the dark as it is up the foot of a mountain and then down a winding track!
