My partner and I stayed at this motel if you could even call it that. There were more permanent tenets than actual motel guests. We were put in a room next to these live in tenants. At first it was fine but then they would get loud as the night went on and the smoke from their cigarettes would come into our room as our window wouldn’t shut properly. This motel is nothing but disgusting and run down. I would not want anyone staying here. Also the black mold in the aircons was not very nice. I had stains all in my sheets and the smells in the room were just outrageous.

Am currently staying in this motel.,and truly believes that management needs an award or something my hat truly goes off to this lady not only running and managing this motel but also the black marlin on her own and her cleaners do a good job at making sure rooms are to of hygienic standards, rooms are made up with clean fresh linen on request or if it's a longer stay weekly I recommend these motels to any travellers,work related.,family orientated people. Management is great nothing is to much...seriously think she needs roller-skates at time

This is not a 3 star Hotel and is expensive for what is provided. Check in manager friendly and helpful however the room was dismal. Although freshly painted the very old furnishings need replacement. Sheets and towels were clean which was the only thing acceptable. NO soaps or amenities in the bathroom.
Location is ok as there is a great Pub for dinner within walking distance
The stairs, verandah and outdoor furniture need repairs

Wow, the most uncomfortable stay i've ever had!! first thing there's like a whole family "permanent residents" two doors down fighting swearing and smoking around there kids, when there not yelling abuse at each other they are either staring you down or searching for cigarette dumpers over the fence, second thing is the wifi didn't work and we had no hot water and couldn't stop the smell of cigarette smoke coming inside the room.... extremely over priced considering I couldn't actually sleep as I couldn't close the window wich had no security at all so I spent all night concerned for the safety of my partner.... Will never stay here again and will make it my business to prevent anyone having to go through what we did.

Don't stay here it's unsafe and extremely uncomfortable !!!

Service and Location was great but the room was a bit small and air-conditioning needs to be better the bench was dirty, No milk or water in fridge and only 1 soap. Room had a funny smell.

The staff is very friendly and the room is nice and tidy and smells refreshing. The cleaners are doing great with their job and they're very sweet 🙂

Greg was so friendly and personally takes you too your room + gives you some tips. Very handy that it’s connected to the pub via a laneway. It’s locked but the room key opens the gate. ||The bed, pillows and doona were super comfortably. Can honestly say that I had the best nights sleep ever. It’s a clean & tidy room with everything you need inc free wifi. ||Aesthetically the place is quite old. It’s like stepping back in time. Fluro lights / no lamps. TV screen smaller than my laptop. But the hospitality of the managers and comfy bed makes up for all that. ||It’s the perfect spot for a one night stay. Would happily stay there again when passing through.

-aircon caked with dust and mould under the filter, so much so that air could barely move through the unit on high speed.
-door needs to be lifted to close properly
-only soap that was supplied was the soap left in the room by a previous customer in the shower. Soap dispensers were empty.
-The table was sticky
-Flyscreen was hanging off the window
-no reception on site. Check in at the black Marlin hotel.
I have had better rooms for half the price.
