Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good service. Very family and pet friendly.
No water at the powered sites. Otherwise, Very good facilities with the eating hall with breach views too. Showers was overall decently clean (daily cleaner), except for the sandy floors which couldn’t be avoided when there’s beach nearby.
Showering during peak hours before dinner had issues with water running out.
Overall lovely place. Would recommend esp for young families.

We stayed at a beachfront powered site over the long weekend ?
It was right on the beach, with access right at our doorstep.

The park is full of friendly kangaroos and other wildlife?.
Be prepared for no mobile phone service however the WiFi is amazing!
The powered sites don't have water access on site but were very spacious. We occupied site 5.

The amenities were clean, but the showers don't have doors, so the floor gets wet easily and stays wet. The amenities block closest to us had a single toilet and shower combined.
The camp kitchen was great and well equipped with lots of space and a great view of the ocean.
There's a playground, jumping pad, and pump track for the kids ?
The park was really busy, but that's to be expected given the facilities, location, and it being a long weekend. Merry beach is dog friendly ?
I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location, beach front powered site, BUT no water at powered sites. Toilets were dirty an most of the locks on the doors didn't work. Rubbish bins over flowing and didn't look like they had been emptied for days.The pool had major cracks in the retaining walls, with the pebble finish broken away. Dog friendly but residents ignored leash rules and didn't pick up after their dogs, management didn't seem to care.. Definitely not worth the money paid for the site.

Firstly, there were many positive aspects that we truly enjoyed:
The beautiful beach and sea views were stunning, and I particularly appreciated the peaceful wildlife in the area.
Staying in a beachfront location allowed us to witness breathtaking sunrises each morning.
The staff were also very friendly and helpful, promptly resolving the issue when our car battery died, which we greatly appreciated.

However, there were some issues we encountered during our stay. The most significant was the lack of mobile signal, and although Wi-Fi was available, it was almost unusable. Communication between our group was challenging – if we were separated, finding each other was pure luck.

The restrooms, while each equipped with a shower, presented another inconvenience. During peak times, there were long queues for the toilets. Having showers in every restroom also resulted in wet and dirty floors. It was unclear whether the issue was a lack of timely cleaning or no cleaning at all, as the floors remained consistently wet and dirty throughout our three-day stay. Additionally, the far-left restroom lacked toilet paper for over 24 hours, suggesting that the cleaning and maintenance could be improved.

We also noticed a degree of lax management around the grounds. One evening, a group of teenagers rode past on bicycles and threw a bag of poo toward a campsite near the kitchen. Plus our campsite’s decorative lights were also intentionally cut. The lights were there to help avoid tripping on the ropes at night and didn’t interfere with anyone’s view, as they faced the uninhabited ocean.

Lastly, one unfortunate experience was the placement of the television in the dining area. On Sunday evening, during a rugby match, a group of people gathered and turned the TV volume to maximum, completely ignoring the presence of others who were quietly dining. More and more people arrived, turning the dining area into a noisy space. At other Big4 campsites we’ve visited, the TV room and dining area were separated, which was a more thoughtful and considerate arrangement.

I hope this feedback is helpful and contributes to improving the experience for future guests.

Stayed 2 nights in a powered beachfront site. Great location. Facilities were great. Full kitchenette, shower and toilet blocks were very tidy. Friendly environment. Great place for the family

Stayed in a standard cabin with our pet dog. Cabin was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The grounds are very well kept and there is a large pool to use if you're so inclined. Location is right next to Merry Beach, any closer you'd get sand in your toes. There are lots and lots of kangaroos visiting the Park and they are clearly used to sharing the grounds with humans.

HI myself and my wife (senior caravaners ) recently stayed for a week on a Picturess beachfront powered site abousolutly beautiful sea location very peaceful and tranquil kangaroos were friendly visitors and having a nice camp fire was really nice and relaxing . Amenities and Park were in excellent shape Staff were very friendly ,polite and helpful settling us in for our stay absolutely stunning location on the South Coast will definitely be returning Thank you for beautiful Holiday rating 10 / 10 . ?

Great place, plenty of kangaroo! If you like to photo wild animals, you cannot miss this place.
It’s also close to the beautiful beach where you might have a chance to see sunrise and moonrise.

The only thing MUST be aware is insects prevention! We was bitten by few ticks..
