Friendly, warm welcoming staff! Very helpful with guides to local shops and attractions. Clean facilities, kitchen equipment was so helpful in the rain. Beautiful view of the lake and fishing was awesome. Kids had a ball in the pool and riding the bikes we hired.

Great location, well maintained, friendly staff. Loved the view, the ducks were adorable and there were facilities to keep the kids interested. The cabin was clean and the kitchenette was perfect for what we needed. We were very happy with our trip!

Had a fantastic week at the Lake Macquarie Ingenia park. The park was quiet and well kept. We were fortunate to be in a Lake view property. If you like fishing this is a perfect spot, our son caught fish daily off the jetty. We were able to hire canoes from reception and fire-pits are available also, the kids loved foraging for wood. There are nearby beaches to play on for kids and dogs, the Rockpool at Norah Heads is stunning. Orange picking at Dooralong was fun too. The staff are so friendly and kind. We will definitely return. Thank you.

Unbelievably disappointed with Janine and this park.

Have stayed before and at many other Ingenias and always found it excellent but tonight has ended that relationship.

Visitors should be aware there is a significant difference between a waterfront two storey cottage and a water view yet they are all called the same watering.

The views are lousy and 3 staff all agreed it was a known problem but the park continues to falsely represent the cabins even when I emailed and rang discussing the allocation. This all happened after we first confirmed it in fact wasn't the customer who booked the wrong room. Blaming the customer is about the last thing you should be doing.

I travel often and work in tourism and this kind of behaviour astounds me.

This park is a fraud at best and a joke at worst. Photos of tenu water view cabin outlook added for effect.||||Janine at reception an arrogant incompetent fool who suggested I booked the wrong cabin. In front of a room full of guests checking in Two other staff confirmed they get this complaint often and the visitor was in fact rightly wondering where the view went.||||I do not understand why a park would mislead travellers like this. Charge a premium for waterfront and categorise these cabins as cheaper water glimpses. It's not that hard.

Stayed two nights on a waterfront powered caravan site lovely views great walking paths sites were generous and easy to access facilities and amenities kept in very good condition and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

Ingenia Holidays Lake Macquarie offers a fantastic getaway with decent rooms and a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for a comfortable stay. The lake and overall facilities are impressive, providing a scenic and relaxing environment. The barbecue area is excellent for family gatherings, and there's a great play area for kids. Highly recommended for a fun and enjoyable holiday!

A very family friendly park with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the 2 storey lake view cabin and the garden villa. Both cabins were clean and functional. Park is set along the river so has amazing views with a jetty for boats or fishing with the kids. They have a good sized pool with shades, a small playground, plenty of green area to play games, lots of area to ride bikes/scooters and a jumping pillow. The greatest thing the kids enjoyed were the daily activities during school holidays like slip n slide, treasure hunts, movie nights, colouring competitions, etc. The only reason for the 4 stars is really just the location... a bit of a drive from shops and beaches.
