We came here twice over the Tropical Art Deco weekend. We loved it so much, we came back with our family. We were very impressed with the amount of options for vegetarian/vegans, it was a huge surprise. Everything was fresh and delicious. My partner was raving about how fresh the fish was, how the quality was so high. Sitting outside with the incredible river view, it was so pretty and relaxing. They had great music on too, a little retro, really enjoyable. Horrible music is the first thing to put me off. The staff were all really lovely and friendly. Felt very welcome there. They have senior/kid options for a smaller meal, without compromising on the taste or quality, just a smaller version of a few of the delicious options. 10/10. Nothing like this in Brisbane. Decor very inviting and fresh. There is a pub side and a dining inside area, as well as outdoor dining. We would be regulars if we lived in Innisfail!

I was told by a local that this place has the best food in town. Can confirm!! Delicious. I ordered the crispy skin Barra. It was well cooked. You could tell all the produce was fresh. The potatoes were buttery, the tomato’s popped and the avocado on top was generous. The skin wasn’t that crispy, but it didn’t matter the dish was the yummiest thing I’ve had in ages. All the staff were smiling and friendly and genuine in their eagerness to help. The place itself looks good, clean and well lit. Overall a five star experience!

We love the food range here. We get 6 oysters natural and 6 kilpatrick and shared them. Our steaks were delicious. The views over the river was relaxing. And the beers were so cold and crisp….. a big wonderful

Yeah reviews are correct.
There is room for improvement here.
I don't think hospitality places should deserve 1 or 2 stars though!
Some people are sometimes ungrateful.
Braised lamb shank changed to normal lamb shank, good portion size just slightly over salty gravox gravy.
Might add, that I didn't expect a red wine jus on a Sunday night, lol. So I am not complaining.
I would say that the sun-dried tomato pumkin raviloi would probably be my favourite meal here, even though I haven't tried it yet.
No matter who cooks it, it shall taste amazing!
Price on alcohol here is on the high side.
Chips here are deep fried with canola oil I suspect, not vegetable oil.
Way too cold air con inside, slightly over bright LED light, so there is no atmosphere here.
Manager is a little strict & down (probably has staff nightmares or issues, lol). Don't blame him.

Had a girls night recently.

There was no complaints about the food, the staff and service was amazing. We were moved outside as our group was cold in the aircon but the amenities are awesome, a great little play area for kids and great atmosphere.

It’s great to see some good places to eat coming back to a small town

First but definitely not the last visit at this place. Me and my friends were going for a coffee today and to say the least we were pleasantly surprised. The coffee was delicious, the atmosphere through the interior design amazing. But all of us were super happy about the service in the first place. I think it was a British guy. I think someone called him „Tim“?. Anyway, fast at making the coffee, always puts on a smile and too humble to take a tip. Makes you feel very welcome. 5/5 experience. See you soon!

This is an amazing venue and a definite go to place when you visit our beautiful town of Innisfail. The manager Ken and Jamie the assistant manager and their staff are fantastic people that cater for all your needs while at the venue. I take my hat off to the staff as they do a tremendous job in looking after all the patrons as well as your staff. Keep up the great work. Nothing better than catching up with this guy as he always puts a smile on your face. Cheers to Ken and his staff. 🍺👍🍺
