The best pub. We felt like old friends rather than patrons. Beds were super comfortable. Pizzas Thursday Friday Saturday nights are five star. Sue and Matt are lovely friendly owners. Locals made us feel very welcome.

Stayed 2 nights at the Imperial and couldn't recommend them more! The friendly and more than accommodating owners and staff aswell as the nice cold beer and great food will surely mean we will come again. Rooms and amenities were clean and well presented, TV, tea and coffee supplies and ice cold air conditioning in the room made for a pleasant and comfortable sleep and there was no trouble at all for Matt and Sue to accommodate any extra needs we had during our stay. Highly recommended going and meeting the new owners and staff, you won't feel more welcome anywhere else ?

Stopped in for a drink and wow what a friendly bunch we encountered. The owner made us a delicious prawn cocktail for only $8 and he and his wife (the new owners) were very accommodating. Jovial fun time with the great locals! Thank you...we'll be back one day!

Matt and Sue the new owners were super friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous meal personally served by the chef ?
We stayed in a family room. The room rate was reasonable. The bed was comfy, the AC was great when it got chilly. The bathrooms are clean. The decor and colours are very ‘country pub’ but the place is immaculately kept and clean. The upstairs verandah off our room had a great view of the mountains. The vintage wine was probably just a couple of years too vintage Matt but very drinkable. The rear areas look great and the wood fires would be amazing in winter. The town of Manilla is charming with lots of history and great river frontage on the Namoi and Manilla rivers.
We had a great getaway experience at the Imperial and encourage everyone to drop in or go for a drive to a great town and a great country pub.

We came for lunch Sunday 9/1/21 and were very impressed that from talking to Matt the day before and letting him know some of us had GF & DF food restrictions - they sourced GF pasta to make a lovely vegetable pasta meal. Staff could not have been friendlier or more willing to accommodate. We would return again when visiting Manilla & recommend others to give Impy’s a go!

I stayed a night in early January 2019 when travelling through the area. Good, clean rooms with comfortable beds and air conditioning which was really needed on the hot night. Shower and toilets clean and tidy and off street parking which is good but street parking is fine. Planning on staying there again in January when travelling through to the Riverina.
