It was great to experience a comfortable stay in the revamped Imperial Hotel in Portland NSW.
The room with ensuite would easily sit within a 4.5 star rating.
I always look forward to an easy booking process & easy access to my room & this place ticked all the boxes.

Thanks for a great stay. Sean was very helpful throughout the booking process, including helping us to recharge our aux battery after some DC to DC issues. The hotel is clean, warm and comfortable. The town is friendly and welcoming. We felt safe leaving our truck and camper parked up outside the hotel. Meals at the Coro pub were great. Loved meeting the pub dogs Mia and Ruby.

The renovations have truly given the old pub a new lease on life. My room was very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities i needed ? Matt was super helpful and easy to communicate with!! Definitely exceeded my expectations, having an en-suite in the room was a massive plus. Would recommend any day!

A really great room with a perfect little ensuite. Beautifully clean, tidy and definitely not any of that old world smell that you find in some old pubs. Window looked over the oval and enjoyed the many bird songs. Kitchen was absolutely amazing!!!!! Even an oven. All you need! Our bedside lamp was broken. I think it needs a new globe. I have one request - please put another bedside table on the other side of the bed. I was putting my tea on the carpet and I think that is asking for trouble. Even just a simple little table would be great. The IGA was literally just down the street. And from past experience, the Coronation Hotel makes excellent meals. Matt was great at giving us all the info to access our accommodation. Thank you. We stay in Portland every year and we'll definitely book here again.

For cheap accomodation, this place is good. The room wasn't huge, but we just needed it for night time. We had a little heater which warmed the room well. The bed was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and there's a few bathrooms if one is occupied.
The Imperial is very central to the town.

Recently renovated. Very clean & comfortable for such an old building? Our room had a little ensuite, air con, bar fridge & tv - with extremely limited viewing options.. Needs drawers & hanging space which I'm sure will come as it's not quite finished yet. IGA is only 2mins walk & the communal kitchen will be better when it has a table&chairs to eat at. Ask for a stack of timber for the open fire in the pool room (we stayed in winter) & this will be an excellent base to explore the district from. If they clean up the neglected beer garden & put in a BBQ it'll be worth another star when it's finished...

This is the home away from home! The views around this town, its culture and people are wonderful! And then there's Sean at the B&B, i love this guys welcoming smile and fantastic nature, a really awesome host that has nothing more in mind than your comfort and enjoyment whilst staying at this fantastic location.
You can tell that your time here will be hands down one of the most enjoyable just from speaking with him!
Sean is so involved and dedicated the hospitality of others that he is constantly working on improving his venue and service to the public. This place is so comfortable and attractive to stay now, Im certainly looking foward to the future of this Diamond, is what i would describe it as! You have to meet this guy and stay!

Stayed here for 2 weeks for work. Quite, clean room with ensuite. Easy walk to pub, bowling club, cafe and IGA. Reasonable price and even has a kitchen with full cooking facilities. Portland is a pretty town with great history to explore. Matt was easy to communicate with. ?
