We had a pet friendly cabin it was clean & comfortable the park itself is well layed out with easy walks along the river or into town. I will definitely be back. The only disappointment (which is NOT the parks fault) there are not pet friendly places for dinner however the pizzas down the road were great

Great simple park. Check in was easy, we had prepaid so just needed to be shown our site on the map and that’s it. No codes or keys for bathrooms which is a win. Clean amenities and fantastic location. Set up for caravans mainly, the sites are small but the overall patronage was couples and grey nomads so it was a very quiet so site size was no bother. Excellent spot if you want to fish & have a boat. If you want to swim you need to walk down to the memorial park swim area which is netted off but overall a Good base to go out and explore the national parks and surf beaches around you.

Great spot if you want to relax by the water and watch the world go by. Generous sized sites and well maintained amenities.
The location of the park is within walking distance to all that Iluka township has to offer.
Our site had a unituruped view of the river.

We had a great site in one of the dog areas.
There was a lovely huge tree that provided shade for our area in the afternoon where drinks were enjoyed most afternoons.
The toilets are old but were kept clean.
Loads of places to walk in the morning especially along the river.
Short walk to the IGA with not 1 but 2 liquor stores also close by. It's a short walk into the main part of town.

Cabin 3 was tired and very unclean, microwave had cooked food in roof of it. Floor was dirty. I wore plastic bags on my feet the 2 nights I stayed. It rain most of that time. There was nothing to wipe your feet on as the mat was left in the rain but it also didn't fit on landing either. Floor around side drawers and bed had not been swept in a long while. Hair, grass, dust and dirt was swept up by me. Apparently that cabin is as old as the park. It needs freshening up. It wasn't expensive to stay but other friends had cabins in another area of the park that I wasn't aware of. Oh yes and a regular resident had made it very unpleasant as she became verbally abusive instead of pointing out some camp kitchen rules and some camp toilet limitations. It was my birthday and I didn't enjoy this experience much.

2 nights great position! Shops a quick walk up the road. Great spot on the river side. Abundant friendly wildlife with lizards, dolphins and birds. Hard to make contact with the office, phone messages not returned and staff not friendly.

We had powered site 22 right by the Clarrence river. Fishing from jetty right in front of us. Ferry to Yamba 5 minute easy walk. Facilities very clean and friendly. Beautiful spot. It rained for a few dsys but it didn't dampen our love for this part of northern NSW. We shall return.

Peaceful, quaint village with everything you'll ever need. Ferry trips on Wednesday & Sundays along the Clarence River. Daily ferry over to Yamba. Lovely relaxing spot.
