Impeccably clean, tastefully renovated and well appointed. This impressive family owned and operated motel is perfectly located in easy walking distance to cafes, bakeries and the newly constructed SEDGERS REEF hotel. When I arrived, I was greeted by Kadie with the friendliest, warm, and welcoming smile. Clearly a long-time local, Kadie has all the info for the local spots to visit and hike. The motel rooms are HUGE, beds beyond comfortable and the decor is a tasteful blend of modern warmth and old school charm framed amongst well designed and manicured gardens. Amongst the immaculate grounds is a fully appointed outdoor kitchen equipped with stove, oven, microwave, fridge, and yes, even a air-fryer and dining tables and chairs – and equally clean and inviting as the rest of the accommodation. Don't be fooled by the early 80’s old school architecture and exterior, because within this motel is a new world charmer.

What a great place we had booked on booking.com but they did not make us aware of the renovations and as we had our elderly mother with us the stairs would have been to much so they arrange for us to stay in one of their two bed apartments. The place is amazing we will be recommending it to everyone that comes North

Had a lovely stay at Iluka Hotel over the holiday season. We made a last minute booking and Katie went out of her way to help us out with a room. The place was extremely clean and tidy and price well.

Ideally located close to the centre of Iluka.
Smaller family run motel.
Lovely clean rooms and family units.
No lift to 1st floor.
Nice common area with free BBQ facilities,camp kitchen and fridge looking over nice well maintained grass area.
Parking tight but over flow area.

Beds, towels, couch were very comfortable and good quality like staying at a higher end hotel. Fully equipped kitchen and complimentary milk with tea/coffee. Hot good pressure shower. Great AC/fan. Good sized fully private back porch with chairs and beautiful plants. Owners were very kind and helped make late checkin easy. Common outdoor space with full kitchen/bbq and plenty of tables. Sandpit, trampoline and ball nets for kids to play or just chilling on the grass. Thank you so much!!

What a gem this two bedroom wheelchair accessible apartment was! It was a pleasure to stay in. This apartment has been thoughtfully designed with the wheelchair user in mind. There are large, lowered light switches throughout, the kitchen has large pullout drawers at wheelchair height so that all crockery and pots and pans can be accessed independently, and there is ample space to allow for wheelchair turning circles. It has a queen bed and two singles. very spacious living area, and spacious kitchen. The well equipped kitchen is average height and accessible by parking a wheelchair side facing the cupboards. There was ample room next to either side of the queen bed to park a wheelchair, with power points on both sides for charging equipment. The large bathroom is fully wheelchair accessible with a right hand transfer toilet. The unit was very clean, modern, and tastefully decorated, and in a great location. The Managers were very helpful and hospitable. There was an undercover carpark at the front of the apartment, and a shared laundry at the motel. Just a couple of suggestions - The mirror and power point over the bathroom sink are too high to utilise but could potentially be lowered to be more accessible, and the microwave could be lowered onto a bench for better access.
