We had an unpowered site for an overnight stay on our way south. Lou couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Although the park is very small and compact she managed to give us a spot where we didn't have to unhitch. Highly recommend for short stay. Five minutes walk from the waterfront.

We stayed in the corner unit of the main building. Glad we took our own towels, as the towels that we were offered were small and stained. Bed was comfortable and sheets nice and thick and clean. There was a full-sized fridge, but no cooking facilities. The Freezer did have a fishy smell to it, though that would be expected being in a village where fishing is a favorite activity for visitors. Air con was nice and cold. Toilet had a smell to it, and we don't know what it was or where it was coming from. Every time we went in, we lit a match and sprayed the room with an orange spray to assist with getting rid of the smell. There is a kettle, tea/coffee, bowls, glasses and cutlery, however, the only place to wash dirty dishes is in the bathroom sink. Shower is very small and not much room. ||The unit was in a great location and was a very short walk to the pub, the river, Fisherman's Co-op, a short walk to the bowling club and 10 min walk up to shops - bakery, coffee and newsagent and post office. ||The room was clean and tidy, and had security screens on the door and windows.

Very friendly caravan park, "down to earth", how helpful were Drew &Lou, worth their wait in gold, the on-site managers when we experienced house battery problems unpowered. Great location near excellent & cheap fish co-op, Sedgers Hotel & Club Iluka. Dog friendly, as are the permanents which is very unusual, must be happy! Not too far to butchers, bakers & IGA. Nor ferry terminus across to Yamba. Any down points, yes unable to walk our dog in nature reserve unlike Qld. Nice pool, excellent camp kitchen, very clean facilities. We'll be back. Andy & Karen Paul & Bentley the dog.

I stayed in the motel style accommodation and for the price, it certainly exceeded my expectations. The staff are so lovely and accommodating even though they were obviously very busy. Everything was neat, tidy and clean. I will definitely be back and recommending to my friends and family. Keep up the great work guys!

My wife and I stayed one week at Clarence Head Caravan Park at Iluka. We have been a few times before but not for a few years. The park is still well managed by Nathan and Kadie, who are the same lovely, friendly and helpful people we met there many years ago. The grounds, camp kitchen, cabin & amenities are well maintained, very clean and tidy. We love the location of the park and how peaceful it is there. It is the closest accommodation to the rock wall, main beach, Sedgers hotel & the fish co op. There's also a boat ramp less the 100m away. We had a yummy meal at Sedgers hotel on the Tuesday night with other people staying at the park and also the staff. We got fish and chips from the fish co op a few times and it was delicious. We would like to mention Lou and Drew who also work at the caravan park & made us feel very welcome & went out of their way to assist us with our change of accommodation & for express posting my mobile phone to my address, as I left it in the cabin we stayed in. Thank you to all the team at Clarence Head Caravan Park, we can't wait to come back again

Lovely people - very helpful. We were travelling in our boat and they offered us the use of their laundry facilities. These were clean, well-equipped and had plenty of signage with instructions. Including a powder and change service. Happy to recommend this place.

This park is small but comfortable and has a very relaxed vibe.
Friendly staff, hassle free entry. The facilities were clean.
It is located just metres from the Clarence River which has a lovely boardwalk to walk along.
Very close walking distance to the local Sedgers Reef Hotel and the local bowling club which are both pet friendly outside.

My wife and I plus our 2 small fur babies just spent a week as guests in this small and well maintained park. The owners went out of their way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable.The other guest`s were friendly and welcoming especially to our fur babies who think everyone wants to be their friend even the not so friendly large fur babies.|We will be back in 2026 possible around the same time.
