I said 'Yes' to the most beautiful Jack Sullivan gown and pearl veil at Illawarra Bridal and Formal in April 2024 for my December 2024 wedding. Pam was incredibly kind and helped guide me throughout the entire process of trying on gowns.

I didn't have anyone with me for my appointment so I was a little nervous about being overwhelmed by the experience, but Pam's soft and gentle nature made me feel at ease throughout it all.

She talked me through all my options, reassured me on any concerns and subtly guided me on a dress that suited what I wanted for my wedding day.

She lifted my spirits and had me laughing and excited about my gown choice and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She also gave me an incredible recommendation for a dress alterations specialist, Alterations by Jacqui, and I couldn't have been happier with the result.

I'd recommend Illawarra Bridal and Formal for any bride-to-be during the overwhelming process of choosing a gown. They will always put the needs of their bride's first and help you find what you're looking for 🙂

We felt so welcome in the store. My stylist was incredible. I had no idea what I wanted and thought this would be my first of several experiences in bridal shops. She helped narrow down what I wanted. I was never rushed or pressured, she was able to help identify a budget and maintain it. She helped me find a dress that made me feel so special. We had such a lovely time trying on wedding dresses at Illawarra Bridal and Formal today 🥰 Pam was amazing and was so patient and kind to us. When I told her my budget, she did not try to push it or sell me something more expensive, which I was very grateful for! There was a large range of dresses on the “Sale” rack which were gorgeous and affordable. Pam treated us as if we were high-paying customers, even though we weren’t. I told Pam what I had in mind and she immediately picked out the PERFECT dress for me which was the one I ended up buying because I couldn’t stop thinking about it all day. She gave me an incredibly generous discount so that it fit within my budget 🥰 The dressing rooms were nice and private with plenty of mirrors and space. Bookings are required so make sure you book in advance (we booked about a month in advance). Highly recommend this cute boutique!

Georgie was my consultant last weekend and truely the customer service and care from her was absolutely incredible. She was patient, attentive and really listened to every aspect of what I liked and didn’t like until we found the perfect dress. Not once did she make me feel pressured to order a dress right there and then, in fact I had another appointment elsewhere later that day and she encouraged me to go along to that and really think about everything before I committed. In the end I decided I will be going with the dress Georgie helped me find so I look forward to seeing her again in a couple of months when I go in to order it!
