The location is superb, right opposite the beach with a lot of great cafes, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with fabulous views of the hinterland from inside and the beach from the balcony. The king-sized bed was very good, with quality white linen. For groceries, it's just a 5 minute drive into Coolangatta. The Iconic has a very nice ambience to it and I'm very happy to have stayed.

The apartment has the Wow factor when you enter it as the view from 1002 is spectacular.|We have stayed at various apartments in this building and this has one of the best views. We loved watching the whales from the balcony. |We were booked for a 3 week stay and, sadly, the kitchen was lacking. There was no microwaveable dishes and no oven dishes. However, the frying pans were practically new.|Nearly all the kitchen cupboards were empty. |I like to use table mats and coasters to protect the property but there were none.|The lounge furniture was very comfortable.|I'd like to suggest a table lamp or subdued lighting would be good on an evening. It was a beautiful apartment just not very homely.|The mattresses in the master bedroom could do with being renewed. I probably wouldn't have noticed any discomfort for a short stay but after 3 weeks, it was telling.|We would return to Iconic Kirra as we love the location and apartment size.

We stayed for 5 nights, Sun-Fri in a one bedroom panoramic apartment. It cost $1361... you are paying for nothing but the location and views - be warned. ||Positives ||Views - we had a sea view and an epic lounge view of the hinterland. Sunset was beautiful every night. ||Location - it is well located with plenty of restaurant options nearby and Kirra Beach right across the road. ||Negatives ||Bug infested - the apartment was infested with cockroaches. Every night, cockroaches ran riot in the kitchen. It was grim, so grim I refused to cook in my "self catering apartment". ||The cockroaches aside; we found hairs in the bed and the bedside lamps were full of dust ||Poor Maintenance - unfortunately the windows are tired and are a struggle to close properly as a lot of the hinges have fused on the brackets. The shower pressure is unsurprisingly poor, however it still manages to soak the bathroom floor due to the gap in the door. ||We had a room mate - not the cockroaches, we had someone in the second bedroom. Not an issue except that the noise levels were ridiculous. We could hear their tv through our bedroom wall (it is mounted directly onto the wall). It isn't their fault, they have as much right to be there as we do but I find it crazy that I can hear my neighbours having a conversation through the wall when trying to get some shut eye. Simply not good enough. This is also true to the fact that we shared a common front door - which is stupid loud. ||Fancy a good sleep in a dark? Don't count on it. There are no black out blinds, and one wall (the one facing sunrise) has zero curtain/shade options so the sun glares through the beautiful floor to ceiling windows. ||Would we stay again? Absolutely not. Especially at the extortionate prices they ask for zero actual services; fresh linen/towels incur additional costs so use your shared laundry. Need to blow your nose? Use the toilet roll. Want some lighting that doesn't blind you? Zero lamp option in the living space so it's 6 stupidly bright ceiling lights or nothing.

This beautiful resort is fabulous!! The welcome from reception was fantastic, and then when I opened the door to my apartment, it was fantastic!! Spacious, clean and bright, I had even been upgraded to a 2 bedroom unit. |The iconic is worth every cent and the location is so close to the beach, sensational restaurants and cafes.|I will definitely be back!!!

The panoramic views from the balcony of our suite on the 13th floor were fabulous. As a family group of four we enjoyed the space and amenities of the suite. Lovely comfortable bed, an uncommon thing. We loved being able to walk to cafes, restaurants and everything we needed was only 5-10 minutes drive, including the airport.

This stay was outstanding, couldn’t improve on the location, access to cafes superb view, high quality of fittings and spaciousness of rooms. Great sense of style, Staff were most welcoming and the 20 meter pool was instantly refreshing. Will definitely book a return visit.

Perfect place, fantastic staff. Everything was as new, very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom and balcony. Just walk over the road to the beach, and there are great cafes and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The apartment block is so quiet!
