This small shop has everything! We ordered chicken bbq, pork skewers, spring rolls, delicacies and ube cake (purple cake). The cake was such a hit during the party I attended. Pork skewers is 10/10!! The staff were so lovely and warm. Will be coming back for sure!

A cup of milk tea with pearls cost $5.50 here.. the tiger milk tea was too sweet for me but the chocolate milk tea had a surprisingly strong cocoa taste, in a pleasant way.. the classic milk tea tasted more like soy milk but I enjoyed it..

In addition to milk tea, they also do other drinks such as: fruit tea, smoothies, hot tea and cold drinks.. they also have a special menu at the counter which you can check out when you pop by..

They also serve a wide selection of donuts and interesting flavors of gelato ($4.5- 1 scoop; $6.50-2 scoops; $8.50-3 scoops)

I would definitely come again! I just would have to adjust the sugar level a little πŸ™‚

iChai has recently expanded their range to include Korean Fried Chicken, but this is only available from Wednesday to the weekend. Two of us went this afternoon and had a combo sampler box. 12 half wing pieces in 4 different flavours. Original, soy, honey and chilli. This came with a choice of sides and pickles. We had the steamed rice, enoki mushrooms and garlic chive Kim Chee.
The chive Kim Chee was chilli spices, but nowhere near as hot as most Kim Chee I have eaten.
The chicken is the best Korean FC available West of Lidcombe. The chilli does have a bite to it, but easy to eat with a fruity bubble tea. The honey wings had a funky texture, more like a thick honey jelly or gravy on the outside. Only wings are available, no whole chicken, pity about that.
I recommend these as the best KFC west of Lidcombe and generally the best chicken wings in the lower mountains. Eating here felt like a part of Strathfield has moved into the Mountains, it is the most original Asian food in the area.

This place does amazing birthday cakes!

We ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday and were just so happy with the service and the cake itself. I gave quite a vague brief (enchanted theme, 6th birthday, favourite colour purple) and they nailed it, and provided the most beautiful cake which fit the occasion perfectly. It tasted fantastic too (chocolate sponge with raspberry mousse).

My husband and I agreed that for the size and elaborate decoration it was very good value. We will definitely going to ichai for cakes in the future.

It's a treat to come here every time and I can only wish them to succeed going into the future!

In my lifetime I have consumed over 1 million donuts, I have eaten a donut on every continent. I have published 4 peer reviewed papers on the subject of donuts. Given the above I would consider myself somewhat of an authority to state that this store produces what can objectively be considered the best donuts available. I specifically note the lemon curd and cheesecake stuffed varietals to be absolutely exquisite.

Love popping in for a tasty dessert when the cravings hit. Lots of delicious cupcake flavours, and sweet treats. Not to mention their drinks and teas are really popular with the kids. The addition of Filipino & Korean food to their savory menu is what keeps me coming back for more. The Sisig, the Sinigang, and the Adobo are delicious! The tastiest lunch in the mountains. Add it to your must-eat list if you’re traveling through the neighbourhood and are looking for a tasty lunch or a delicious treat.
