We had a Christmas party at barangaroo so my wife and I decided to stay at the Ibis for the weekend. Location was great, close to Wynyard station and a short walk to the Untied rooftop bar.
Service was great and staff were friendly. For our one night stay the room was all we needed. The room was small but we knew that when we booked. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Will definitely be back as the location in great

Picked this place for its perfect location for seeing the sights along the wharf. Friendly staff, petite but stylish rooms and a great lobby. The lobby has a coffee bar with breakfast, happy hour 3-5 and simple dinner fare through 10pm. Fun siting area with a library lounge vibe. Really appreciated the free sparkling water on tap. Definitely recommend!

Location was great for Darling Harbour, but room was very small, could sit at the desk to work without moving the bed for space, the bed was very soft and had a great view of the freeway only metres from my window. Other rooms throughout may have been better, but next time i will be elsewhere.

A very pleasant hotel, has everything you need. I’ve stayed there a few times now and it was always good, the rooms are clean. A great price for this prime location, the staff members are nice, I had a very pleasant interaction with Moss this morning when checking out, he was very helpful.

This was quite expensive with a room the size of a shoebox. They gave me level 1 room 10 so my view was the underside of an overpass. Wont be staying here again. Also, there is an annoying constance electric hum that doesnt go away. Only up side were the staff and the unique block out curtains.

The staff was super responsive and helpful leading up to the booking and during stay. Breakfast was great and staff lovely. The rooms were petite but super functional. The hotel has a great location and was in close vicinity to the event our staff was attending.

I like smaller hotels so I liked being at Ibis Sydney Barangaroo. Less people, less noise and people traffic. Easy to check in and out. That being said the room was very small but ok for just myself on business. The lobby also was nice to come down, sit and read with a flat white and small breakfast. Being just one block away/close to the water walk was also perfect. Close enough to pop down and take a walk or have dinner but far enough away not to be in the mix of people and noise.
My only issue was the showers are so small the water sprayed on the floor when opening the door to get in and when I was in my shoulders almost touched the door and the wall. This is the smallest shower I have ever seen in any hotel. It is also plastic so that feels cheep. They forgot to refill the coffee packets a few times but gave me extra when I pointed it out. Very Nice staff.

Overall a good stay. After reading reviews I was nervous but I asked for a high floor room and got 710. Staff on check in and check out were super friendly and helpful. Room is small as per other reviews. Very compact. Bed was clean comfortable and lovely sheets. Room was well maintained with block out blinds. Bathroom small too but all I needed. I’d recommend if having to stay at Barangaroo for an event but not if you want to spend time in the room or hotel. Lobby had a small take away coffee bar with light snack and limited seating areas inside with some outdoor seats but it rained all weekend. A good hotel to stay just for sleeping. I found it expensive $330 per night, for what you got but I guess it is Xmas party season and the location was great, right on edge of King St wharf and Barangaroo. About a 10 minute walk to metro. Don’t expect any views. Even on top floor we looked out onto the highway but there was very minimal noise. Limited bathroom products. Just one bottle for hand, body and hair washing. Same soap. Bring your own.
