We were really looking forward to a relaxing stay, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. The room was extremely noisy, which made it hard to get a decent night’s sleep. We could hear everything from the hallway and adjoining rooms, and there didn’t seem to be any proper soundproofing.||The bed was also a big letdown — it was actually two single beds pushed together to make a double, which made it very uncomfortable. We could feel the gap in the middle, and it constantly felt like the beds were going to come apart. It definitely wasn’t what we expected when booking.||Overall, it just wasn’t a restful or enjoyable stay. Some improvements to the noise levels and bed setup would really make a big difference.

The only issue at all was booking after midnight for that same night so the computer system couldn't work out how to check us in. Lovely staff, lovely privacy, helpful with parking for a large 4wd, everything comfortable, worked, clean and suitable. Exactly what you'd hope in an upper class motel, at budget price. Very impressed.

It was an ok stay.
Had what I needed and on the place I needed.
Reception staff were ok, while the manager was great.
Room was like a meat locker and did not get warmer than 17⁰C and I was in a room for the disabled (no idea why).

IBIS Glen Waverley truly impressed me. The service was excellent, staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. The cleanliness was perfect, with spotless rooms and well-kept facilities throughout. A comfortable, stress-free stay in a great location. I’ll definitely be back!

Rooms were clean, and tidy. Heating didnt work, so it was extremely cold. Most staff were very friendly. One particular middle aged man working in dining service mid week, is not very friendly. Asking him for something is a real bother and he certainly shows it. Not very welcoming for your hotel guests. His always flustered and quite rude
In his actions, despite the area is very quite. Customer service is not his best point. Other members of staff were helpful. Breakfast options were ok, but could do with some thought in making sure you are always well stocked with food and beverages, as welll as dining area is set at all times. This can greatly improve your guests satisfaction. Great location, close to shops and facilities.
