I should have checked the reviews, paid $200 for a night and was horrified at what we got for the price. With this level of disrepair, they should be charging backpacker rates, not hotel rates. For the price, I expected simple, but clean, like equivalent budget hotels in the area like Value Suites, or other budget ibis locations.

Reception stank of cigarettes, the room itself was full of mould all along the ceiling, the wall paint was peeling and bubbling. The bedroom was so small my partner and I could literally touch both walls with our hands and feet at the same time lying down. The bathroom looked like a wet room, the dirty water marks on the ceiling and slimy walls suggested they clean the bathroom by hosing it down rather than actually scrubbing and washing. The sink in the bedroom made me think this place is actually intended for adult services. The soap was a three in one, no flannel/face washer provided so we had to use our hands. The shower head was so low, it came to my shoulders and I'm 175cm tall.

Don't trust the photos posted by ibis, they've clearly been edited to make the rooms look newer and cleaner than they are. I was horrified and embarrassed to bring company there.

Extremely disappointed by my experience at this hotel. I've stayed in a range of ibis hotel locations and by far, this one was the worst. Firstly, there are no lifts, so I had to drag a heavy suitcase up and down two flights of stairs. The staff didn't even offer to assist me once with my suitcase.
The room wasn't satisfactory. I found pubic hair in the toilet, also very dirty with peeling paint from the walls and a heavy layer of black dust on the walls. The window blind was broken so I had to secure it closed with a hair tie wrapped around the window ledge and the air conditioner was broken which was great as I stayed during a hot spell in spring so I had very poor sleep. Also, I used the kettle to make a cup of tea. I turned it on to heat when I noticed a burning smell coming from the kettle. After looking inside I noticed burnt black water inside. As for the food options, I was extremely dissatisfied. I chose this hotel as I am on a strict budget so I'm saving money by bringing my own food. I was not notified that the dining area was locked up between 10pm and 7am. When it was open, i went to prepare my cereal and noticed there were plates and bowls but no cutlery. When I asked reception, they provided me with a wooden knife and fork. They advised me there were no other cutlery available. I asked for a spoon as i said i cant eat cereal with a knife, they said they had none so I had attempt to eat it with my fingers. As I had an early start the next day I had to eat my baked beans from a can, cold with a paddle pop stick.
I had to adjust all my holiday plans to accommodate being able to make use of the dining facilities. When I attempted to discuss this issue with the reception staff, they dismissed me with a quick sorry but it's the policy of all the ibis hotels. I corrected them as I have stayed at other ibis hotels with much friendlier staff, unrestricted dining facilities and cutlery provided. Of note, attending the dining area the next morning, full sets of metal cutlery were provided. A contradiction to the advice I was provided that no cutlery was available at the hotel. As for parking, despite the number of rooms, there was not sufficient parking spaces available so you have to just be lucky if you can find a park. As the hotel is surrounded by fast food restaurants with very clear signage about towing for non customers, the provision for guest parking was extremely inadequate, so as for the lack of notification on their website. An extremely frustrating and disappointing waste of my time, would never recommend to anyone considering this hotel. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The room, ensuite and beds were comfortable and small fridge handy for for items. The room was a little small for 2 large suitcases from our overseas trip, but managed by placing them on top of each other next to the wash basin.
The board under the hand basin had come away from the wall but receptionist confirmed it would be fixed after we leave. It was difficult also to take our 2 large suitcases up the stairs without a lift! The washing machine & dryer were available for $4 each and I was able to borrow a hair dryer.

Our fridge froze the food and couldn't be turned down.
Walls were dirty ( stucco bad choice).
Bed had stains on mattress topper but thankfully no bedbugs.
Pre-fab bathroom unit - mouldy, claustrophobic, door impossible to open.
No microwave in hotel from 10-7am.
Phone message bank full and no-one to answer.
Internet unreliable.
House keeper lovely, but overworked.
The area has little facilities, unless you like fast-food.
25 minutes walk + to station and store.

Room is full of mould around the ceiling, the walls are all stained, in fact nothing looks clean in the at all. Its hard to believe that you could find a hotel room this disgusting in a modern city like Sydney. Way over priced and disgusting. One star is generous

I have never dealt with anyone as rude as the Manager name starting with A. He was very unhelpful and had no apologies for being unable to contact the ibis for 3 days as there mail box was full. Apparently he had been working there for 8 years too long. He definitely needs retraining when answering the phones and dealing with potential clients. I have stayed at many Accor hotels over my life and they have always had high standards. If this is the attitude of the management than I can only guess that standards of the hotel stay. Do better.

Bloody terrible. Room was full of mould. It was across the walls and ceiling and even down along the bed. The bathroom was filthy and rusty. Who puts your wash basin as far away from the bathroom as possible. Air conditioner was set to 16 and couldn’t be changed. Flat pillows were terrible. We didn’t eat there as the state of the room would have been an indication as to the standard in the kitchen. Didn’t want to take a chance. Only giving 1 star as you can’t give a 0. To charge over $200/night is an insult.
Wouldn’t recommend this motel to my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs.

I knew not to expect 5 star accomodation but what I did expect was a clean room at the very least. The shower was so dirty, black mould and other people pubic hair. The top bunk had pubic hair on the sheets, black mould on the roof above the aircon. Place is a health hazard. Should have slept in the KFC next door the floors where cleaner
