Always an easy check-in, nice rooms with great facilities. Off the road far enough to be a quiet stay and out of the way but located in a great location and a short walk to anywhere you'd like to go including the amazing waterfront and into town for restaurants and shopping. The staff are always happy and helpful. Very easy to make the decision to always choose IBIS for my stays on the Central Coast

It's cheap, so you get what you pay for. Rooms are cleanish, marks on wall, dead bugs on blinds etc., otherwise it's clean. Beds too small, rooms very small, but it was only a place to sleep really. Next time will spend a bit extra for somewhere nicer though.
Good if your on a budget.

As expected for the price the room was quite small and almost zero luxuries. The rear carpark was strewn with rubbish and lots to laundry to be picked up when we arrived. Terrible night's sleep as there were a group of people seemingly having a party in the breakfast room. We waited until midnight and then called the night manager who said she had already spoken to the group but they seemed to take little notice. It did go quiet about 1 am. First time as an Accor member that we have stayed in an IBIS Budget, won't be doing that again.

I spent one night and I expected a tiny room but I didn't expect that room to smell like mung beans. The shower drained to the carpet, and there was some blood on the wall near the toilet. The toilet had enough powder in the bottom if to make me think someone was ditching evidence. The floor had some dirt on it, so I didn't dare take my shoes off. Birds nexting on the ledges didn't let up until late and started up early. Would have mabe been fine if I wasn't trying to air out the smell. I didn't turn up late at night, I would have booked different accommodations.

The location and staff were good, the breakfast selection was appreciated, the beds were made well however the room we stayed in smelled strongly of sweaty feet and just had a terrible odor, the carpets need to be replaced with tile of vinyl so they can vacuum and mopped to avoid absorbing odors. The bathroom was tiny and the exhaust fan wasn't working, the shower drainage is not set at a functional level leading the water to build up and move into the bedroom. The Tv did not have screen sharing / Chromecast and the wall USB sockets were not functional. For the price we paid $145 it was not worth the stay and I will avoid Ibis hotels from now on. We ended up staying at hotel gosford and it was a far better experience and quality and was also a lot cheaper. My recommendation for this Ibis hotel is to completely renovate it to modern standards, bigger room & bathroom and to choose better building materials that update the look and feel and make it easier for the housekeepers to maintain the cleanliness.

The cleanliness of the room was horrible, even got a free finger or toe nail for my troubles. Looks like they only clean flat not raised surfaces as the dusty surface that included the finger nail was on the lip of the desk. Pulled down the blind which looked like hadn't had a damp cloth touch it in years. The aircon had dust inside it in clumps, but unfortunately had no choice but to use it as there are no fans. After this I will be avoiding Ibis.

This is the second time I've staged I. About 3 months. Enjoyed the experience late check-in was a breeze. Family friendly as well will be going back. Thanks for a great experience.
