Overpriced for a place stuck in the 80's.
The booking site gives a price and it changes on payment from $184 to $226 about $100 too much for what it is.
Once you arrive the receptionist is pretty good.
No elevator, rooms are adequate but for the price you'd expect a lot better.
Noisy window rattler A/C in our room although others had split systems.
Location is close enough to the airport but nothing close by if you want to eat as there's no restaurant in the hotel. Taxi or Uber or delivery only.
There is a fridge near reception that has alcoholic beverages and a small kitchenette type setup opposite reception.
Extra $10 night to park your car if you have one.
They also charge $2 to weigh a suitcase.
Little sound proofing in the room so plenty of traffic noise to keep you awake.
Pay similar and stay at the Novatel instead.

We had a quick overnight stay. Room was tiny, we had no soap in bathroom nor hand towel. No hairdryer and only a basin , no bench space. Kettle didn't work so we had to ask for a replacement. Rate was the cheapest I could find at this hotel. I think next time I'll pay a little extra and stay somewhere nicer and bigger.

Freindly greeting upon arrival and were upgraded to a larger room. That was really appreciated as we had more than the usual amount of luggage and need more floor space. The welcome drinks selection was great, red and white wine, beers, juices and soft drinks to choose from. Our next morning departure was swift and easy just dropping the key in the express box before getting the cab to the airport.

We arrived after midnight, and while the self-check-in was easy, our overall experience fell short of expectations.

The location's convenience to the airport was a primary reason for choosing your hotel, especially as part of the Accor group. However, my first experience with an Ibis Budget was disappointing. The hotel felt more like a motel, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

There were no lifts, forcing us to carry our luggage up the stairs, which was frustrating. The TV in our room didn’t work, and the bathroom situation was particularly unsatisfactory. The shower area was small, with a shower head and toilet sharing the same cramped space, divided only by a shower curtain. This setup made the area feel gross and uncomfortable, and the floor was constantly wet.

Additionally, the walls were very thin, allowing noise from other guests to disrupt our sleep. In the early morning, someone dragged their suitcase down the stairs, creating significant noise that made it impossible to rest. We were looking for a place to shower and sleep before our next flight, but it was anything but restful.

I also had to ask for my welcome drink upon checkout; I was offered coffee, which I don’t drink, and received only two water bottles for four of us.

Overall, it was a terrible experience that I won’t forget anytime soon, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Tried calling many times prior to our arrival in the week leading up, even requesting the call back feature and never received a call back. SMS check in details sent which was helpful for a late check in. Im not one to ever comment on pillows but these were terrible. Too high and bulky resulting in a sore neck in the morning. Included breakfast was below par, all the fruit was gone, only one type of bread left, hot cake machine seemed overly difficult to master, minimal offering for cereal.

Budget hotel yes but not budget price. Room was comfy but the bathroom was really basic. No lifts. Car park additional $10 a night. Car park was behind the hotel which was really bad cause when it’s raining you have to walk under rain to the front entrance. Breakfast was worst than hostel. Too simple. Better staying at the ibis brisbane central at same price but so much better experience.

Good stay and close location to the airport. No shuttle to the airport but Uber and Taxis are easily and available at anytime. Nothing fancy but the room was clean and amenities in the room were just what we needed. The bed was a little uncomfortable but okay for one night, perhaps that would be the only improvement. The staff were super friendly and helpful! I’d stay here again for sure.

Was a great room to get a good nights rest after a light flight. Comfy bed and adequate amenities. A bit on the expensive side for a ‘Budget’ hotel and the buffet breakfast we paid extra for wasn’t much more than a large jar of help yourself cereal, a pancake machine and some vending machines.
