The positives: great location, affordable for a family of five, family room is a good size, we got an early check in, reception helpful in booking a taxi.
The not so positives: breakfast is a box of bread, spreads, cereal and milk - sufficient but super basic. Body wash was empty. Noise carries super easily, upstairs sounded like they were running laps and playing the drums at 11pm, impossible to sleep and same from next door from 5am. Pillow worst I’ve ever had in a hotel. Good for one night only.

It started with check in|Spelt my surname, could t fi d my reservation, turns out , even tho I spelt it, didn’t listen|I did t have a photo ID , that was on me , but huge fuss was made |I had my card, the reservation emails etc|Get into the room, it was great, balcony smaller than expected, but great|Look for “ info pack” ( wifi instructions, room service menu etc) Nothing in room|I ring reception , I missed the wifi instructions , they are printed on the room card envelope, that’s on me |I asked for an info pack any way, was told we had one, I explained ( again) we didn’t |I went down to reception and was given a restaurant menu|To this day I have no idea what is on room service or how to order it|Internet… I paid extra for the fast version, happy to do it|NEVER had good connection our entire stay, booted every 5 minutes, Facebook would t open pics, YouTube same, staff was very haughty and dismissive , condescendingly offered to show me how to set up internet on my phone….|We just gave up |Had a little kitchen, perfect but no teatowels or dish cloths, asked 3 times for some, got some finally, late on our second day|Extractor filters were greasy and filthy, egg flip melted and disgusting|Air con would not work, staff came up and it was the batteries in the remote, the next night it refused to turn on again, we just gave up and left the balcony door open|It’s such a shame, great location, very decent rooms , great price but just dreadful to stay in|Reception staff were verging on rude and really didn’t give a damn |We felt very uncomfortable and will not make a return stay

We stayed in one of the two bedroom units as a family of four. The room suited us well. We appreciated being able to check in early after arriving from our transpacific flight. The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance to many sights and directly adjacent to busses and trains. We appreciated the included breakfast (not fancy, but adequate) and the free laundry facilities. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again if I’m back in Sydney.

Rooms were clean and fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for a weekend stay, accommodating 5 people in one room. Central location, quick drive or walk to Darling Harbour. Bar fridge well stocked with goodies too.
Only downfall was that I was advised Netflix would be available but we couldn't connect and staff were unable to help.

Great studio apartment style room with balcony and view of park. Great public transportation nearby. Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss but room was clean on check in. Would definitely stay there again.

Good hotel in a nice location. Rooms are spacious. We had a Studio with a double and single bed.
Room was clean and well laid out. Own balcony looking out at Hyde Park.
Staff were helpfull and friendly. Easy walk to train station or nearby shops.

What a great find the Hyde Park Inn was at the last minute, booked a two bedroom apartment which was a great size for a family. The staff were more than helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The only down side was that on site parking is limited but with the convenience of covered car parking only 3 block's away and the cost of the parking included in the accommodation price it was a great deal and more than made up for the slight inconvenience especially when in the centre of Sydney. Will definitely stay again without any hesitation..

I am so grateful for this lovely hotel and it’s beautiful location. Free parking, central location, nice kitchenette and bathroom, value for money and conveniences just down stairs like the 7/11. I don’t think you could beat it for a city stay. Special thanks to the cleaning staff who cleaned the breakfast dishes we left each day. We really appreciated this luxury!
